I can only really think of Tony Dinning and Lee Tomlin as bad loan-into-permanent deals - are there more?

That said, can anyone think of any successful loan-into-permanent deals we’ve had?! There’s probably some obvious ones…

Nathan Baker......  kind of.  I would say successful if accepted.

Or we could just go to a pub.

You could do that as well to be fair.  Take your laptop down there.

A really stupid idea has come to mind most likely alcohol induced but they aren't they always.

Many of us have been on OTIB for many years and enjoy a chat with other mentally challenged fans like myself.  I have met some at different dinners etc but certainly not all and it would be nice to put a face to a name and have a laugh.

Why not set up a MS Teams get together so we can have a chat, a laugh and put the world to rights.

Anyone interested then PM your email to me and let's see what we can set up.

I have the email of Tommy in Sweden so entertainment guaranteed.

It is a sweet idea.  Could be around Xmas to give people enough time to organise or commit.  Get a couple of the podcast guys as special guests.  Maybe a city themed pub quiz kind of thing.  One Microsoft Teams Meetup Not Necessarily In Bristol.  OMTMNNIB.

It stands for "Contract for Difference". Two parties, typically described as "buyer" and "seller", stipulating that the buyer will pay to the seller the difference between the current value of an asset and its value at contract time. If the closing trade price is higher than the opening price, then the seller will pay the buyer the difference, and that will be the buyer’s profit. The opposite is also true. That is, if the current asset price is lower at the exit price than the value at the contract’s opening, then the seller, rather than the buyer, will benefit from the difference.

I wouldn't be fussed if Martin never pulled on a City short again and, as I replied to someone else earlier in this thread, it was said in the context of referring to some who said on here perhaps Weimann is less effective because the very successful W-S-M of last season has been dismantled. On the second point, we are repeatedly reminded that we cannot afford loan players which leaves us trying more kids as the only remaining option.

Pearson seems wedded to a particular formation which I believe is replicated in the U21s but I believe he ought to try something different like this: [he won't of course]

    Bentley

    Tanner  Klose Atkinson Pring

Vyner Scott Williams Naismith [or JD]

    Conway  Wells

Its a basic 4-4-2 ; Vyner has played central midfield ; Naismith has played wide left many times in his career and whilst injured JD can fill in although his crossing is crap!

Should probably keep the shorts on.

Yes , of course , you can improve slightly / maximise what god gave you but he will never be blistering (That’s not a criticism)

But maybe over that first few yards or feet. Dunno why I said yards. No idea what that is.  That boost of speed to move away from the oppo.  He has all the rest.
