  1. John Terry Right man for the job: 30 Excitement factor: 50 Risk Factor: 90 Shag your Mrs: 100
  2. Just seen this haven't listened yet..
  3. Only on OTIB I see negative comments after a win, can people not pretend they are a happy for once.
  4. Are we able to use Morrell or Walsh instead of Smith?
  5. Completely agree on his performance but he just can't stay fit for a season. His injury record is way to consistent. He's averaged about 75% of games played going back 7 years even at Villa. That's not including his worst seasons like last season where he managed 16 appearances. I just feel like we need a more solid pairing or part of a 3 that's not constantly rotated due to injury.
  6. Hello young sir, My dad was the first Nigerian Astranout but is stranded in Gloucester and needs to return home. Please can you help by sending your sort code and account number and you will be greatly rewarded for your troubles sir. Yours sincerely, You'r Gullible
  7. For me he's in the inconsistent pile with Korey, Baker, O'Dowda (although can't even remember his last good game?) Hunt, Weimann. All players I think we should move on. No more sentiment with a new manager and a new start needed.
  8. Didn't see the game today but I've been at a loss everytime I've seen his name in people's preferred line ups every week and equally in the actual team every week. Can't take anything away from him for his service to the club and the promotion season. But in recent years compounded by injuries he's been awful in my eyes. Really like the guy but needs to be moved on. Think people have overlooked his downfalls for his great attitude and history.
  9. Love it OTIB had a few days of relative excitement and enthusiasm with the potential of a new manager. I was just waiting for this to combust at some point.
  10. Although I don't think they know any inside details about this situation I do agree with the reasoning behind it. I generally think there will be some disappointed fans because I'm not sure we will appoint CH. Time will tell whether that's a good or bad idea but I don't feel we will drop the coach as opposed to manager and bringing youth through policy. CH will expect to buy his own players regardless of age and he usually buys older ie. Glen Murray who did fantastic for him before. This I don't think fits into the transfer policy our club has adopted the last few years.
  11. Apparently they've put themselves in for the job.. https://www.footballinsider247.com/aston-villa-no2-john-terry-a-contender-for-bristol-city-job/
  12. Completely agree.. Definitely paints a picture Also I left the handbrake off my car this morning and it remained exactly where it was, I think this flat earth theory was right all along.
  13. Not sure you've got the right to say that You considered that statement was real. On what planet would a club write LJ or SL was crying when explaining why they had been sacked
  14. No hate against Gregor but that article reads like pure opinion on his part not informed in any way. I think we will see a new manager in a couple weeks because we will only get a short preseason due to the delay of this season. Gives the new manager assessment of what he's got and competitive games to kickstart next season.
  15. Sorry I just never get this. What does he deserve a 4 page spread outlining all the best moments he's had? What does that change. It's sad for anyone to lose their job but for me personally I'd prefer a more 1-2-1 discussion as apposed to a corporate website thank you. Due to the existing relationship between Lee and Steve that's all been done I'm sure. Nothing to see here in my opinion.
  16. I don't know what else you need to know? He didn't get the results, hasn't for a while so he was relieved of his duties with a thank you for his efforts. I'm sure LJ has spoken to SL privately and that's that. He doesn't need a closing ceremony because he's lost his job.
  17. This is brilliant for ME
  18. This is brilliant just for the responses pure gold
  19. Best Players: Josh Brownhill signed for free did very well and sold for 10 million, Bobby Reid turning a player who we would have struggled to sell for 200k midfielder to a great striker for 10 million, Adam Webster without doubt the best CB I've witnessed for us bought for 3 million and sold for 20 million. Worst Players: Gustav Engvall bought for 1.5 million and sold for 200k after near to none appearances, Marley Watkins bought for 1 million again not played, Callum O'Dowda bought for 1 million and consistently done nothing after getting chance after chance. Good Players: Niclas E
  20. Aww no the internet bully hurt my feelings. Get a grip Galway.
  21. You must be pretty sensitive yourself to try and trigger Top Robin in the first place. He rightly said this is a football forum.
  22. We've played crap the last two games and prior to the lockdown but you are way too dramatic about the situation. He's gonna get atleast till the end of the season so you may aswell get used to it. Pulling out the moral high card for him to decide to make himself unemployed is madness. How much he's earning or earned doesn't give you the right to say he should rip up his contract. You don't know his personal outgoings. Moving away from your ramblings about him not being a proper fan. With respect of his future I think it's on shaky ground if we carry on losing with drab perfo
  23. Have we had on paper a better set of forwards in the last 20 years atleast?
