  1. Probably, but still think it’s worth a tenner bet, just in case we are living in the matrix.
  2. I heard this too? Said something about it being his first goal in 3 years. Really racking my brains about how this has happened! Was he just practicing his commentary skills?
  3. Potentially although I don't think its the only factor. I'm 27 and while I question some of the decisions that the club makes - I think we are lucky to have SL as our owner and it's pretty clear that we are making progress, especially off the pitch. Having said that - on the pitch is what really matters and I'm not sure how I'd feel if we continued to improve stadium, training ground etc but didn't make it to the Prem in the next few seasons.
  4. True - but the club itself is in a far better place than it was 7 years ago. We should have achieved a higher finish in the past couple of years no doubt - but the stadium, training ground, combined with some of the fees that we now are able to sell our players for, shows how far we've come IMHO.
  5. This interview popped up on Youtube earlier today - Steve Lansdown talking after we were relegated to L1 in 2013. Very dark days for the club and it does help to put recent events at the club in to perspective. If someone told me back in 2013 where we would be going into the 20/21 season (Covid aside), I personally would have bit their arm off!
  6. Considering that it will likely be quite a weak league next season (with Covid spending restrictions, and just generally looking at the teams in the league) - I think anything lower than a 6th place finish will be disappointing. Especially as it would indicate a lack of progression from the last few seasons, and most fans agree that Hughton would have probably got us in the top six.
  7. “I spoke to Lee numerous times every day”. Why? This just shows how MA has far too much control at City and likely had a significant say in the new coach. Why would the CEO need to speak to the manager multiple times daily, surely LJ would have been focused on picking the team, coaching etc - things which MA should have no input in?
  8. After the Blackburn game on Saturday, while feeling quite pessimistic about City's hopes for the rest of the season, I thought back over the games so far and struggled to think of any in which City really dominated a game i.e. won the game, had more possession and more shots on target. I figured this may have been heavily influenced by the performance I'd just watched - so I thought I'd go through the stats and see how often City actually do 'dominate' a game (based on BBC Sport stats). Over 38 games this season, City have: Won the match, had more possession and more shots on targ
  9. I’d go with a 3-4-1-2 on the basis that we look strongest with 3 in central midfield, plus it allows us to play Eliasson and 2 strikers (which gives us the greatest chance of scoring IMHO): Bentley Kalas Williams Baker Eliasson Smith Henrikson Dasilva Pato Wells Fam Only players I’m undecided on are: Palmer or Pato: KP could be at his best playing behind a striker like Wells, but very harsh to drop Pato on recent performances. Henrikson or Nagy: I have never see Henrikson play, but Nagy hasn’t performed well recently and from what I’ve hear
  10. Reid to Fulham £8.5m confirmed apparently.
  11. This is what I thought too - however unfortunately it’s looking like this rumour has some legs.
  12. Can’t prove the reliability of the source - but a bloke I work with knows a few of the Cardiff City staff and has said Cardiff will sell Reid for the right fee - however Reid would prefer to go to Fulham over City.
  13. RAD_Red

Can’t see Adomah being part of Villa’s plans in the Prem. Would a move for him be a good move for City now or am I just being nostalgic? Think he’s an excellent player but goes against our policy of focusing on youth.
