Re: Left Handed Giant, I'd recommend getting the Bristol Ferry (if during the day) as one of the stops is opposite the LHG and you can walk over the bridge. The ferry is a great way of getting around and seeing the site, especially if you come down by train to Temple Meads or are staying in the centre, have fun! https://www.bristolferry.com/waterbus/ -
Could have sold an extra 10,000 away tickets if we had the capacity! Mental! I don't think Man Utd give out 10,000 away tickets and they have the largest club stadium, rediculous

198 subscribers now! More than 50% increase! I have no idea who runs it but hopefully they are loving the amount of notifications! -
https://youtube.com/@bcfcformerplayersassociati9603 I feel the BCFC Former Players Association channel needs some more subscribers, there are some great interviews on there, and currently they only have 124 subscribers, pitiful, get involved people!!

When my father in law got diagnosed with stage 4 brain tumour and 6 months to live, we were all with him in hospital, and his son said straight away "at least you don't have another 4 years of the ******* Tories!"

Seems quite a small number of safe standing seats, about 2% of the total capacity, I wonder if any plans to increase this number to something more substantial?

Not quite ??

This must be a wind up surely? The only thing he's not won in domestic football is the Champions League (of which he was a runner up) Leicester City Premier League: 2015–16[2] Football League Championship: 2013–14[135] Manchester City Premier League: 2018–19, 2020–21, 2021–22[2] FA Cup: 2018–19[136] EFL Cup: 2018–19,[137] 2019–20,[138] 2020–21[139] FA Community Shield: 2018[64] UEFA Champions League runner-up: 2020–21[140] -
I hope so to be honest as the atmosphere will be electric and so segregation means a full house!

Closer to the £10k I would think, I heard from someone who knows someone that Max is on that plus a £1k clean sheet bonus

That's it good work!

I went to all 3 games when I was 10! Great times! Didn't we play Cambridge home and drew 1-1 then got spanked away 5-0 and Dion Dublin was on fire! Great finish in injury time!

I saw the bottom up glass filling at Trent Bridge when I went to the Ashes first day 10 years back, they did 4 at once in seconds, I don't know why it's not more widespread technology

Home draw against the lowest ranked team all day long

News flash we are not the biggest football team in the world, the way football works is bigger (or should I say Premier League) clubs buy players from smaller (non premier league) clubs. We then buy players from smaller clubs (e.g. Matty Taylor) and then bigger clubs buy our players. Even Man Utd have their players bought from them by Real Madrid. It's the way it works, and the way it's always worked. It doesn't show a lack of ambition at all, it's just the natural order of football.

Thanks Dad

Who gives a shit really, it was years ago! Marcus was great for Rovers, fair do's, he went on to bigger things and did well before ending up back at City where it didn't work out, so what? Why do you care so much? GJ didn't like him, who cares? Such tedium!

Who's this beautiful, blonde man with a lovely voice? It's Annie Lennox

Imagine being allocated one of the outer pitches! You'd be knackered just getting to it! The downs has 32 pitches according to wiki, which I thought was a lot! Great pic

I could only see this working if the number of white cards equates to something like an extra point or whatever, so instead of players diving and faking injury, they were helping each other up and getting in with the game, but it's massively subjective and would end up causing controversy I'm sure

I had a Twitter debate with Phillips a couple of years back (I'm not on it now) where he got very upset that he hadn't been included in some City Legends event, the long and short of it is he felt he was a City Legend and I felt he wasn't!

He revolutionised football in this country and was ahead of his time in many ways. I think he probably stayed too long at Arsenal in the end but interestingly as part of the financing arrangements for building the Emirates, there was a clause that Arsene Wenger had to stay as manager, as a sort of insurance policy, so he actually had added pressure on his shoulders and this was also a reason he stayed on.
