I love that Bilbao approach, I’d love City to do similar, I know it might mean less success (not that we have much anyway!) but it would really bring the whole club together, players and fans, all from Bristol area, all in it together, instead of the feeling that most players are just there as a job, not because they have any affection for the club. It would give us such a strong identify. It won’t happen obvs but would be nice

I think NP also suffers because of what he did at Leicester, and the expectation is that he has some kind of Midas touch and will succeed in doing the same here. The problem is that the factors are all different, so the chances of him doing that IMO are either low or completely unknown. If Neil Warnock, with multiple successes at multiple clubs in all sorts of situations, came in then I think the expectations would be justified, but maybe NP, like Danny Wilson before, has had his day in the sun when all the stars aligned, and it’s not going to happen again?

‘They’ shouldn’t really have a say, if UEFA of FIFA or indeed the Prem decided it would improve the game to mic up refs (even if not broadcast) then it should happen. The lack of accountability from officials is staggering when you think how much money is at stake!

What you mean is you don’t have interest in sport played by women, football isn’t a ladies sport, it’s a sport that can be played by men and women, as can all sports! Do you think Serena Williams is low quality at tennis?

You watched 30 minutes of the whole tournament, deduced Spain were the only team close to the mens game, and then posted on here to tell us about it like some kind of footballing oracle. Embarrassing. It doesn’t matter whether they are better or worse than any standard of the mens game because it’s not the mens game, not that you would know as by your own admission you only watched 30 minutes of it. Very poor post.

Interesting to read back through this thread to read the negative comments about the lack of beer getting spilt in fan zones as if womens football could never be popular and this tournament didn’t matter, well you look small minded and stupid now. As a father of two daughters I hope this serves to inspire them especially but all football fans men or women, absolutely great. I heard the atmosphere at the games, whilst different to mens game, was a breath of fresh air and certainly better for kids. So glad we won’t see headlines about drunken middle aged blokes fighting in the streets! Come on England!

In the Uk they used to use multiple embryos as they thought it gave more success, but all it did was create more multiple births, so practice now is to use single embryos as safer for mother and gives just as much chance. 40% is pretty much top end success, nowhere near 60%.
