  1. Since sacking Dyche they have gained 10 points, winning 3 in a row I think, that’s probably kept them in with a sniff of staying up
  2. Call it a smack, call it a hit, makes no difference, I don’t think it’s right to do either to kids, and I don’t think a lack of doing this is causing social problems now.
  3. The car thing is crazy, I guess for people in their 20’s still live at home as impossible to get on the housing ladder so spend their cash on a ridiculous finance arrangement to buy a car instead!
  4. On the Ricky Gervais Podcast World Cup episode, Karl Pilkington makes the point that they should make football shirts in larger sizes, if you are too fat you shouldn’t where one as they look terrible!
  5. You’ll be blaming computer games next! By parenting discipline do you mean hitting? If yes then I think you are wrong
  6. Where there’s a will there’s a way! The ‘war on drugs’ is completely lost here, we waste billions of tax payers money in a futile attempt to stop the drugs market and use. As all coke is made in South America, every nation needs to work together to find a solution, otherwise we are all at the mercy of drug lords and the impact of what they do. Cigarettes is defo a good comparison because of where the raw material to make them comes from.
  7. I’m guessing not as there are enough exits in Wembley (and new stadiums) to get out in an emergency, I’m not an H&S expert so don’t know but I assume it’s been cleared for use
  8. A full kit must be about the same price as our season tickets! Crazy cost but if people still keep paying it then they will keep charging it!
  9. Wembley has flat horizontal fences which stick out rather than up, which are more difficult to climb over, which is why you don’t get many pitch invasions as Wembley.
  10. And that wealth is used for even more serious crime like people trafficking, purchasing weapons and terrorism. The uncomfortable truth that users of coke either don’t know about or don’t care about (which is worse)
  11. The petrol is added to the leaves in a barrel and helps separate the stuff which becomes the cocaine with the other bi products of the leaves, Gordon Ramsey (due to his brother being a drug addict) did a doc on it a few years back. I would recommend anyone who takes coke watches how it’s made, how many people are involved making it and trafficking it and where their money eventually ends up. Unless the whole process of making it is regulated and it’s use legalised, everyone who takes coke has blood on their hands I’m afraid. Gordon Ramsey Cocaine Doc
  12. But that’s too much booze and drugs consumed by people who can’t handle it, not societal factors in my view. That’s too easy an excuse to make. People from good backgrounds with no societal problems can also punch people in the face if they can’t handle the booze and drugs and are inclined to violence.
  13. If Societal factors are the cause, then these sort of incidents should be more frequent and occur across all aspects of life, but they don’t, they happen only at football. You don’t get somebody under societal pressures going to the theatre to watch Lion King and after a few beers in the interval, running on stage and punching Simba do you!
  14. Bob Bob super Bob! How many did he score in the promotion season 35? That was my first season as a fan, went to most games, I was gutted when he left!
  15. Why is the Pr*ck Ratio so high per 1000 football fans compared to all other sporting crowds? It makes me embarrassed to be a football fan this sort of thing. I keep pedalling the ‘it’s a small minority of fans’ which it is, but that small minority is huge compared to all other sports. Wembley has this bungee cord type barrier around the whole of the pitch (they had it at the old wembley too) which makes it very difficult to climb on the pitch. Not sure why other grounds don’t adopt it
  16. All I know is Grange Hill went to pot when they changed the theme tune!
  17. I spoke to a mate of mine who is an FGR fan, he said Wilson is better in attack than in defence, so if we got him and played his as a wing back then ok, if he’s going to be an out and out right back in a back 4, maybe not so good. That’s all I can add but he said he’s a good prospect
  18. If Rangers or Celtic were in the Championship they would adapt to that level accordingly like all clubs do and then if backed financially would easily push to Prem due to size of clubs IMO, it’s almost irrelevant if the standard is better or worse currently really
  19. Remind me how Rangers did in Europe this year?
  20. Grandads Team - Rovers, he was a season ticket holder his whole life, last time I saw him before he died was at the Eastville Club playing skittles which was quite fitting! Dads team - Bristol City, my Dad is born and bred in Pill. Mums team - Rovers, she met my Dad at a Rovers match as City away game was cancelled so my dad and his mates went to watch the Rovers game as was the done thing back in the day, luckily for me! Local team - Mangotsfield Utd is closest to Downend I guess, I’ve had a few mates down the years play for the Mango’s Your team - Bristol City! Kids team - Bristol City. I also bought my nephew a City shirt for his first 18 birthdays to make sure he had a life of mostly misery as well!
