  1. To buy 5 and pay £56 is unreal, great pricing and well done to all city fans for selling out as it looks like we will very shortly
  2. Well said, Pearson did a good job but was very functional in his play and bloody inconsistent in his results. sick of hearing about him like we’ve gone and sacked Pep. Who people on this forum I am sure would find something to complain about with if he somehow ended up managing city. actually no, evil Jon lansdown and his loyal dog Brian tinnion probably would because they hired guardiola and not Pearson
  3. I think the problem lies when the majority of the “interactions” become abusive. Why should he put himself up for that? It’s just football at the end of the day and no one should be forced to listen to some of the crap that comes from that cesspit
  4. Just saying it’s not quite as mouth frothy embarrassingly circle jerky fantasies about ousting the lansdowns and reinstating saint nigel Pearson when in person as it is on here
  5. Take a big deep breath and remember this forum is not indicative of the fan base. It’s all very exciting for those on here this evening as Christmas has come early, a city loss
  6. Certainly not implausible. At QPR I was sat near a city fan who started offering a fellow fan out just because he had the audacity to request his missus stopped vaping in front of him as it was billowing smoke into his face
  7. Thought the fans really helped them over the line. Well done all. i was waiting for the fist pump cheers for him to tick off the young and up and coming manager bingo card grateful for it though, nothing against Pearson but I think it’s something we need to galvanise fans and team which have been disparate for too long due to style of play not being the most exciting or consistent to get the fans going
  8. I wish Jon lansdown could have been at QPR to see the vicious display of disaffection shown by all the Bristol city fans
  9. Am I under suspicion? Do you need to see my papers?
  10. Indicative of discourse on anything now tbh.
  11. And you for yours. Hilarious if they did sign up with BS email address’ have they never seen a Cold War movie? I know! Like the twilight zone innit
  12. To be serious, for a moment. There are many many people who view this forum without signing up and posting, true city fans - not everyone feels confident enough or wants to engage in a debate however.. big news or events can drive people to do so - getting frustrated that something they think isn’t being said heavily agreeing/disagreeing could prompt people to start posting. That isn’t to say “agents” have not come on here, it could happen but to what point? Change the mind of a whole fanbase? A. No one changes their mind on a forum, that’s fairly given as a fact of life and B. This forum is a very very small slice of the fanbase. For one’s sanity it is always good to remember B. Going to a game usually helps remind you of that
  13. Down with the OTIB autocracy. Viva la revolutión
  14. In 2015, a crack commando unit was sent by Steve lansdown to perform a crime he couldn’t commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to a gurnsey based compound. Today, still wanted by the OTIB they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if you want to sack a problematic manager, and if you want to promote the new manager on a fans forum....maybe you can hire The happy clapper team.
  15. It’s very much comes across as paranoia
  16. I bet some people on this thread have some preeeetty strong views on msm too
  17. I do think they have possibly missed one opportunity to many, and made one misstep to far to bring it back round to have another run at it I agree. I understand the lack of faith and belief. but I don’t say it to be hyperbolic or out of frustration with the anti lansdown rhetoric, I am genuinely and deeply concerned about the shape and form that investment or a takeover would come in. The world of football ownership is overrun with charlatans and snake oil salesmen. I just worry what this could bring to our football club - this concerns me way more than a bungling albeit largely well intentioned family based in guernsey. the disintegration and about turn on the Pearson relationship and strategy is so curious, we really did look like we had settled into nige continuing to settle the ship while new investment was sought. Was the mediocre football not selling the club well enough, is this another tilt to try and get up and the club to have a lasting lansdown future or again to make the club have more value? I really don’t know Your point 1 is interesting, not something I’d heard before - could you elaborate and on how it might have affected us?
  18. Within the vitriol that is inescapable on the forum right now it just struck me as abit of a reminder of what it takes to run a football club and what little return you do get
  19. Do we underestimate the difficulty of doing so though? So many clubs trying to do the same thing, very few make it. This is the story of many many clubs - why should we be special? For sure we could be and with better ownership many we could be but don’t think it’s that easy
  20. Quite detailed on articles on this if you went to look, just because op didn’t link anything doesn’t mean there isn’t a whole wide web out there
  21. Know this is from Monday but has struck a chord. Imagine sinking that much of your own money into something each year, although all relative to wealth and getting such a poisonous and obnoxious set of fans in return. ouch
  22. I know this forum is not indicative of the fan base; it’s just a pain in the arse to try and read opinion on city without running into someone still crying their eyes out over him - and I don’t include you in that, obviously.
