  1. Yes the u18 and u23's are the next stage. players there are getting paid and on contracts but not the money of the first team squad.
  2. Steve Lansdown played with the idea of being the regional centre of young player development and of course recruitment of major talent in the Southwest and sacked that off after a year or two. Amy Kington did fantastic work getting the academy up to cat 2 status them BS came along and started binning it. LJ binned the pathway further by having squads of 40!! What City have now makes little sense. The the OP made some great points there.
  3. This man must have one hell of a vision for City to get the job and beat off all the other applicants. Like to hear very quickly with no bullshit what Dean Holden as number one is going going to do differently to Lee Johnson when he was part ??? of the failure that got Johnson sacked.
  4. Thought the drinks break affected Fulhams flowing football. Harris used it to remind Cardiff what the ball looked like.
  5. How many lads developed from the academy will be in LJ's team tonight??
  6. Maybe you nan could. But watching City and the premier league its not muscle the team needs its players who can keep the ball. the midfield minus Pack and Brownhill are not.
  7. Is the club incapable of sticking to a laid out plan? Has the club or LJ simply lost their way with it? Has it all got lost with LJ trying to be a master tactician or succumbed to the pressures of success rather than sticking to it, for risk of failure? Lot of ?? but can anybody say what it was this plan was? Anybody? 1/How was the team going to play? The team have lost IT. Got IT back. LJ talks a lot but never actually says what the big IT was. He and his coaches cant explain what City;s identity is!!!
  8. Bristol City v Sheffield Wednesday skys man of the match Bannan all 5.6 of him!!.
  9. Physicality? What about skill? This team are struggling to pass a football!!
  10. Red Rock as another poster highlighted Milner is a running machine. Beats all the squad at LFC in the bleep test. he is a powerhouse in fitness. Liverpool are a powerhouse in fitness.
  11. Tall big what? Liverpool are not top ten in the premier for height they are 16th!!
  12. Used to be a handful of regulars from Devizes but Devizes is Swindon and Pompey. City lads from Melksham were generally from from the Forest part of the town. They used to run a coach or two to games and Wembley but as they put it the Melksham was more far more Swindon. Melksham and Trowbridge City fans didnt always get on with each other!!
  13. MP I didn't mention Rangers because I wasn't asked but they think they are Scottish and British playing in a Scottish league. Celtic some of them think they are Irish freedom fighters. The Green Brigades anti fascism stances v armies that fought against it?? Confused belters !!
  14. Celtic. Green Brigade are IRA's cheer leaders.
