  1. He's my number one choice. His record speaks for itself, I don't at all get where this perception that he manages with a negative game style comes from. The tables above say all you need to know, his teams at this level score goals, don't concede many and ultimately win promotion. Only question is would he want to come here.
  2. Never forget him scoring a sublime overhead kick winner against us at Vale Park 22 years ago. Still gutted about it now But if he was to take over here all would be forgiven.
  3. He's just taken over at Middlesbrough. Not going to happen.
  4. Sack. Off you go on your kiddy sized bike.
  5. Shite manager, always has been always will be.
  6. Quite possibly the best post i've ever read on here. Absolutely spot on. Wake up SL.
  7. Yeh late 80s the gasholes had a good record against us. Ended by the one and only Louie Donowa in 91.
  8. Top man, cheers for looking up the stats on it. Knew it was fairly close.
  9. Wouldn't say they had the better of us on a regular basis. Without checking the stats I remember us beating them just as much as the other way around, i'd say we had the edge, but not by much. But agree not much between both sides.
  10. Exactly this. One would hope LJ has been made aware that another poor run of form and continued poor performances won't be acceptable.
  11. What sort of manager buys a striker who has proven he knows where the goal is, a natural goal scorer (Mo Eisa) and gives him less than an hours game time throughout a WHOLE season. The lad didn't get a sniff, still pissed right off about it. LJ has had long enough, time to show some ambition. Won't happen though. It's engrained in at this club. Until the mentality changes they are going nowhere.
