  1. We’ve recently lost at home to Millwall, QPR and Cardiff without scoring a goal… how much kinder can it get? Why are we left waiting for the inevitable?
  2. Can’t argue with any of that… we’ve even got a new boring manager and a new boring style of play to really reinforce our demonstrated boring reputation…
  3. PM Liam… probably have enough spare seats on the bench. Good luck BTW..
  4. I’ll give the club the benefit of the doubt on this one.. Ivor’s day out was likely planned some time ago.
  5. Well at least the club finally got something right this season..
  6. Slowly? They’ve got the afterburners on at the moment.?.
  7. We would have been better off having TGH sit this one out as a loanee and having Andi available for us for not only this game but all the other games he has missed for us since his loan. When we can’t get anywhere near filling a matchday bench it seems ridiculous that we let the club captain go out on loan, especially to a team who were occupying one of our ‘top 6’ positions . There again, ridiculous just about sums us up at the moment.
  8. We’re not talking 8th from the bottom though are we…
  9. Worth noting that Andi started, and made an assist, for West Brom yesterday. Still don't know why exactly he left?

    Kieffer Moore

Yea, he's doing a real shit job there eh.. if only Ipswich would have JL and BT behind them they'd have the title wrapped up by now.
  11. TBF his thoughts and insights into the academy players was pretty good, in addition to discussing the excellent U18 cup run and upcoming game against Man City he went on to explain the EY loan to Bath logic of being involved in ‘men’s’ football.. likening the move to Antoine and going on to say that only Lloyd Kelly wasn’t treated this way.. all good stuff and this is where he clearly excels.. Then, he started to talk about the first team and it all quickly turned to bluster and drivel..

Well I did say that they ‘seem’ not to give a sh*t.. and I based that on their lack of action in addressing the manager situation which we all know urgently needs addressing. And despite their previous commitments to improving communication they have in fact regressed there too, even comically logging on and off of X as the results fluctuate. I do accept that I wrongly accused them of having balls of steel, when due to the reasons above I was clearly wrong.
  13. Steve Lansdown and Mark Ashton sacked Dean Holden and this was the day that they appointed Nige because we were on a losing run, in the sh*t, really struggling and looking like going down, P31… 39 pts.. We were 10 points above the bottom 3 and needed a proven football manager to maintain our championship status. Now, we’re 44 pts from 36 games and 6 points above the bottom 3. Fair play to JL and BT they don’t seem to give a sh*t and must have balls of steel. Should also add though, and that as we all know Steve Lansdown no longer seems to give a sh*t either. Jeeeezzzzz….
  14. Think that would make the picture look worse to be fair… Leicester, Leeds played (competitively) away from home… depleted squad… kids getting a game… fans onboard. As Mr P suggests, we’ve regressed big time.
  15. Given our squad limitations and Manning’s reluctance to give youth a chance in any shape or form, I’m still at a loss as to why we let Andi go to West Brom… surely he’d be better coming off the bench for us rather than them?
  16. Agree with this.. after the Swansea game the next 4 matches are really tough. Lose on Sunday and it could be 9 on the trot
  17. What were they drinking?
  18. Hate to say it, but a better option may have even been Matt Taylor. Surely the gas have not made a better managerial appointment on probably half the salary than us… or have they? Surely JL is not that stupid, or is he?
  19. Ha ha.. good one Frank Spencer also came to mind..
  20. But if Pearson would have been supported back in the summer and again as required in January… we’d be there or thereabouts.
  21. Just an update to point #3.
  22. Celtic are the top scorers in the SPL and have scored as many as the third and fourth teams combined - 68 in 28 games. Rangers have scored 63 in 28 games. If Tommy went to either he’d score a hatful, it would not be much more challenging for him than playing in the U21s. I certainly don’t think he should go north of the border though, an in form young championship forward will always attract more attention from the premier league, (which would be his dream.. he’s not really Scottish), than an SPL equivalent IMO.
  23. Bournemouth? I don’t think so. Take someone a lot better than Tommy to replace Solanke.
