  1. Can you still the reverse the charges when making a call?
  2. If found guilty of either charge , I assume Wally could sack him with no compensation due ?
  3. If we get Ipswich at home in one of the cups , I’d be amazed if he even was in attendance
  4. Hopefully we get Ipswich in one of the cups, and I’d welcome Mr Ashton doing a lap of the ground and meeting a few fans outside.
  5. Four Four Two has us finishing 21st , difficult to argue with our form being so poor for a while now
  6. I agree that people should have a second chance , but the negative publicity received with the Simpson signing shows domestic abuse is rightly condemned (whether first, second or multiple occasions). In Barton’s defence he hasn’t been convicted of this, which Simpson has. I do agree with your statement of how many chances do you give Barton, he’s clearly got anger management issues, regardless of the outcome of this court case. He was a ticking time bomb when appointed and I can’t recall any previous manager of a football club having two trials in quick succession for assault.
  7. Maybe the club could look at Owers to do that type of role? Remote enough from the current crop of players but would have their respect with being an ex pro.
  8. Completely agree , our player has been convicted of the same crime. Barton hasn’t been convicted. The thing with Barton is how many chances does the guy get?
  9. Thinking of players who would step up , not sure out of those on the pitch
  10. Who would even take penalties? Kane, Henderson , Maguire? Not sure who else
  11. Grealish and sancho against these aged defenders
  12. Does Gareth trust him? But I agree we need someone to get us up the pitch
  13. Just need him to get two goals for golden boot
  14. Unfortunately, if we lose the idiots will be out in force
  15. Well said , I’m sick to death of the so called ‘Golden Generation’ and many others talking post retirement about club rivalries but when they played it was always a great group of lads etc If players couldn’t put club rivalries aside when playing for the national team they should have declined the call up
  16. Being reporting three at the back , Walker, Stone and Maguire. Tripper and Shaw as wing backs
  17. Be interesting to hear Walsh’s version of events. Sure now he’s no longer an employee more will become known
  18. It’s fury whose tested positive
  19. We really seem to have a group of players with a morale conscious. Maybe some of our politicians could take note , see how they’ve decided to jump on the football bandwagon? England’s players will donate prize money from their historic run to the European Championship final to NHS charities. After Jordan Henderson’s fundraising efforts at the start of the pandemic, members of Gareth Southgate’s squad now intend to make another financial pledge to the health service. England will face Italy in Sunday’s final at Wembley Stadium and victory would take the amount of prize money from the tournament to about £24 million for the Football Association. About £9.6 million, or 40 per cent, of that would be shared among Southgate’s 26-man squad, and their intention is to ensure a chunk of the money goes to the NHS. Further talks are planned after the tournament, to iron out tax complications associated with payments to England players. However, the desire is clear to support the health service and continue the link bolstered when Henderson, the England and Liverpool midfielder, emerged as a driving force behind the #PlayersTogether initiative in May. Henderson and the captains of the 19 other Premier League clubs mobilised to make private donations that helped to raise millions of pounds for those on the NHS front line and other areas of need. An earlier statement on behalf of the players read: “Following positive discussions with the FA, the England senior men’s squad are pleased to confirm that a significant donation from their international match fees will be made to NHS Charities Together via the #PlayersTogether initiative.
  20. Going to be compact and hit them on the break
  21. Sancho needs to come on instead of Foden stretch that defence with pace, agree with the other two for energy. Correct subs made , means we win the game
