  1. @Matt Parsons BCFCSLO this post has hit the nail on the head. Seemingly most people didn't have an issue at Man Utd game in terms of standing where they normally do on a match day. Unfortunately by virtue of the fact I'm one of the first into our section on a match day I had to deal with stewards that wanted to escort me and friends to those allocated seats on our season tickets, causing a sizeable argument in the process. We stood where we normally do as in the end the stewards gave up as the reinforcements arrived. If I have stewards chasing me up the steps again Tuesday night then I for one won't be impressed. And no, they can't go telling certain people to go to allocated seats but not everyone, as it doesn't work that way. I'd strongly suggest the club reconsider their stance before Tuesday night. Supposedly this sort of thing is 'in the interests of fans safety'.... Well I'd be willing to suggest that this stance will actually be even more detrimental.... If that's the game we are playing. We had no choice in selecting season ticket seats at start of season and we definitely weren't told we should book with every single one of our friends, just in case the club decided to enforce measures such as these. It was billed as unreserved, you should honour that agreement.

Well done to the fellow city fan that thought they'd spend the night dining out on the bank card I dropped in the ground tonight... £50 spent on a card that isn't yours instead of handing it in isn't big, nor clever. Shame we have some fans like that - especially after the great result tonight where we should be basking in the glory of beating big boys in the cup, instead we are over £50 odd down and feel like night has been tarnished somewhat by this act. Don't worry though, the police will be informed tomorrow - shouldn't be too hard to trace back the individual to the ten or so transactions you made seeing as we have times card was used and there is CCTV at all concessions in ground.... Up the city.

    Half Time - S26

The bouncer is never positioned in this section, he was walking round like he owned the place from the get go and was particularly abrasive with many fans. Blue steward 13 that has been referred to also decided he thought it would be a good idea to get up in my face personally and aim a very aggressive tone and stare at me. Standing over me, staring me out when I've done nothing wrong did make me laugh - all I did was question his colleagues as to why they thought it was acceptable for four or five stewards to aggressively man handle a man that had done nothing wrong, in front of his kid... Don't think Mr blue jacket was overly keen on the fact people were calling out their actions....He very quickly scuttled off after this and didn't return....

    Half Time - S26

4/5 Stewards manhandled chap out of ground with excessive force, leaving his 10 yr old kid who has learning disabilities on his own. Reason for this all unfolding is because kid had feet on chair during first half. His old man was told 'you can move somewhere else in ground or we are going to kick you out'... Before he has chance to even reply, one steward basically grabs him & then other high viz friends join in pulling this guy from all angles with brute force out the stand.... Kind of beggars belief to be honest. All whilst this poor kid is screaming his lungs out because his dad is being aggressively dragged away for no reason. Not one stewards came to check kid was okay & it was up to a few of us that know the dad and kid to make sure he didn't get hurt in ensuing chaos etc - even though the stewards in the section know full well this kid cones with his dad and was now left alone. The force used by the stewards was way over the top and they didn't follow any kind for duty of care, this poor kid is very upset by all accounts. I spoke with Dave Storr and multiple stewards during time it was all kicking off and have insisted that they review CCTV ASAP - Dave told me that they would do so in due course. I want to get this in here before people start adding to thread with second guesses etc.

The first picture actually is from Chesterfield away in 14/15, which was the last away game of the campaign. The other one is from first home game of 15/16. Just for balance...

3 very well taken goals tonight, his second was a fabulous finish - looks like with the correct attitude and coaching he does have a future in the game. Would like to see him get a run out in the final few games providing our championship status is secure

    Villa Tickets - merged

So people that travel the country week in week out following us away should potentially miss out because you don't want to sit on your own?.... Get a grip.

    Fleetwood Tickets & CATS

Had booked next Tuesday off for this game but won't be going with them charging that. I do realise it's a fair old distance but for a Tuesday night cup replay against lower league opposition, when we are in dreadful form, you would've thought they'd have wanted all the support they can get. Tricked missed I think...

    25,000 For Fleetwood

Still expecting a gate of around 8/9k. We had sold under 5k last Friday - Fleetwood will probably end up bringing under 500 too....

I was there last night.....by no means was it the worst performance away this season - losing is part and parcel of football, especially supporting City, wouldn't expect the club to offer a refund for it. I parted with my cash knowing we are in bad form and haven't won away at Ipswich during my lifetime but I did it because I support us no matter what. Yes it was frustrating to lose once again and yes it is getting a little bit tiresome having very similar outcomes week in week out, but hey ho!

    Josh B

Brownhill was a positive for me last night - worked hard defensively, looked to get forward whenever possible, broke up play, started off attacks & wasn't afraid to fire in a shot. Set pieces weren't bad either. Had a really solid game in the middle of the park & would like to see him get a run of games, for me he's offered more vs wolves and Ipswich alone than Smith has since his return & O'Neil has for a good 6 weeks now. Maybe these players that LJ claims are for the future & aren't ready now, are indeed ready and deserve a fair crack. As one of these so called players for future outshone comfortably seasoned pro's ala Tomlin, Wilbraham, pretty much whole Ipswich XI etc yesterday....
