  1. Trevor Tainton. Always flew under the radar, but: A product of our youth system Third highest appearances in club history Important part of 76 promotion team. Regular starter in top division.
  2. Colin Howlett. Almost forgotten about him. Forever droning on about Rovers huuuge travelling support!
  3. Just looked up his stats. 99 goals in 338 career league appearances. That's pretty damn impressive for a winger. RIP Alan.
  4. Or kicking our new signings off the park. No thanks!
  5. That says it all. Just the thing to wave in front of any sag who says that there hasn't been much to choose between the clubs until recently. The 59 v 19 statistic of seasons spent in the top two divisions nails all arguments!
  6. Even Notts County have a ground that the sags can only dream of!
  7. What really bothers them is even if that fantasy came true it would still be smaller than our place!
  8. He's only a poor little gashead Who the ******* hell are you?
  9. They really don't seem to realise that they are being patronized.
  10. They don't need to put the lights on. The glow from their virtue is enough to illuminate the pitch.
  11. They'd love to go back to the 70s. They had a better team and a better ground than they've got now.
  12. My god they've nailed it! There are groups of City fans who dedicate their Saturday afternoons to hanging around in Horfield on the off chance that they may be able to lob a few missiles at some injured Shrewsbury Town player. It's all so obvious now they've explained it!
  13. First division football was available in Bristol for the first time in 65 years in 1976 and it wasn't at Eastville! I don't think their crowds ever recovered from that.
  14. They wouldn't say no to that kind of "****ing shite" being in their squad right now though!
  15. The County Ground is the very definition of half decent. Good sides, crap ends.
