If I was a Boro fan I'd be feeling the officials have had a brown envelope each. Leeds getting all the decisions.

You mean the Knight x Bird combination that was part of a team that failed to make L1 play offs last season? Need to manage our expectations here I feel.

Neither do I. Wasted a bit of the nest egg on him I fear. -

McCrorie really frustrates me by constantly falling over. He's like a kid's robot with a broken gyroscope. -

Quite. Knight with one or other of them. Take Williams off for Mehmeti and put Knight back there imo. -

Think we are missing Zak's control at the back. -

Interesting. Would never have guessed it was them in a three. I was assuming it was GT,HR,CP but couldn't see who would be LWB. -
Think they sold a few tonight!

Roberts playing well. -
He also wanted to sign Mehmeti at Oxford. Not great signs imo if we are allowing him to spend the nest egg.

Guess we'll find out if it does second half. -
I'm beyond reading posts that suggest that SL brings in some top, experienced football executive to run the club. We all know that's the root cause of our under performance on the pitch. We also know he won't do it. Feels pretty depressing at times. Then I remember all those years stuck in L1, wishing we could just be a solid Championship club. Helps me get it in perspective.

I prefer a manager who focuses on setting us up to play to our strengths. Chopping and changing to match the opposition is the wrong mindset imho. So fine by me if this shape is gonna suit us. Whether Liam will actually start doing this remains to be seen. -

Sky saying we are 3421 with Tanner RWB. I like him as a defender but he gets a nosebleed over the halfway line. Going back to everything going down the left then. -

Trouble is, the Lansdowns have already made it clear they won't get proper football experts in to run the clubb and probably don't have a clue which manager to appoint. So no guarantee it will get any better. -

Isn't Tanner the obvious RCB? Can't see him as a WB. But then who plays RWB - Sykes would be the obvious choice there. I'm puzzled. -
England tipping it between three of them all stood together in Belgium's penalty area and losing it. Big lump down the field and goal scored. Sums up the problem with our 'modern' coaching for me.
