  1. I expect there will be a decent crowd to watch us lose to Leicester. However, if things carry on like this, then Blackburn could be the game that sees a lot of empty seats. With no excuse like Mother's Day. If ST holders can hold off until then the double whammy may make SL stop and think at least.
  2. Agreed. Not sure we will beat Huddersfield either. So potentially 5 points. Jeez that's depressing.
  3. So you're happy for him to bring in more players he thinks have the qualities we need - like Mebude?
  4. What would it take for them to get rid of Manning? If we didn't win another game this season would even that be enough? I fear not.
  5. At least he's actually at the club, unlike most of them.
  6. They've been peddling that line for the last ten years. Hope enough ST holders send the message that they no longer believe it will change to make the Lansdowns take notice.
  7. I'm fed up with people saying McCrorie is only shit due to being out injured. To me he sums up what you get signing average players from the scottish league. He has no redeeming features on the pitch, despite apparently being a 'good lad'.
  8. I thought so. No mention by the commentator on ESPN. Who also thought we were doing well up to that point.
  9. So, they obviously see big profits for private medical insurance in future here then. Wonder who they've been lobbying in parliament .
  10. Yeah but if you are a striker will you be happy to join the club when you are unlikely to start very often. What confuses me is that managers will throw on three attackers in the last twenty minutes if they are losing. I find it frustrating that modern coaches seem to think it makes sense to play negative for most of the game, then go for it when that results in losing. Just wish the emphasis was more on attacking, scoring goals and creating an entertaining game of football. Rather than a chess game finishing with ten minutes of caution to the wind when you've been out-thought.
  11. Ten points better off, when you've sold Conway and Pring and bought a couple of L2 players is probably pretty ambitious tbf.
  12. Pretty much said if we sign another striker he won't play WITH Conway but as an alternative. Won't be seeing two up front under Manning then.
  13. I didn't get the fuss about Foden until I saw him play live at AG. His movement and speed of thought were so impressive. Totally changed my view of him and has made me realise just how different it is just seeing them on TV.
  14. Makes me wonder if some of the players have since been told they won't be staying and things have gone tits up in the dressing room.
  15. Sorry, when did I miss the interviews with SL, JL and BT? All gone into hiding as usual when the sh1t hits the fan.
  16. Fourth time he fell over nearly leading to a goal.
  17. McCrorie also fallen over 3 times when running with ball. In the groove early on.
  18. He starts off with pace, runs into a defender and falls over. Like clockwork. Hardly ever gets given the foul he seems to be looking for.
  19. Please can we bring this back. Clive Whitehead used to be equally entertaining. Old football was so much more fun than this new style crap. There again, probably just that I'm an old git, set in his ways.
  20. Wasn't that part of the message when the change happened? The club (ie BT) will dictate the style of play and recruit to suit that. The HC then has to deliver said style of play. Which he isn't. Because it isn't a style that fits with his gameplan. Think I am beginning to see the flaw here....
  21. No argument with the point you're making. I seem to remember at least two one-on-ones with the goalie that Tommy failed to take? I guess lack of opportunities does make you remember them more though.
