Some players love to be the villain and to be boo’d, austin maybe felt his side got played off the park for 45 mins and wanted a hostile atmosphere to perk them up. Either way 1-1 was not a fair reflection in that half so lets go get the 3 points then hopefully that celebration won’t be the biggest talking point and take away from what was probably the best 45 mins in months

No got a 3 week old baby at home so missing a few games but i can tell you i have never felt incited or felt like throwing a bottle.

Of course he has. But i think you can’t just be that tap in merchant/fox in the box type these days. He is too limited in football ability elsewhere to be effective without 9 other players putting in more effort to make up for what he lacks.

I am getting frustrated. But moaning about his interview style is pointless. He is abrasive and short and comes across like he doesn’t want to talk to any media. But he has always been like that, not sure i have ever seen a interview where it doesn’t come across that way. He isn’t all of a sudden going to turn into some happy go lucky, laugh a minute, likeable guy.

Chris Martin isn’t the player you want to be chasing long balls into the channels towards the corner flag. Have a quick search on youtube of Martins goals/assists in his time at Derby. Thats how he should be used but we don’t have the players to use him that way. Shame because as a wall to pass off on the edge of the area he could be very useful.
