  1. Sheff Weds in talks re: permanent deal. https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/sheffield-wednesday-bristol-city-permanent-7345318
  2. Bloody shame we haven’t got Matty Hills son!
  3. Sadly some poor passing at times. Not sure if it’s rustiness or carelessness
  4. Do you honestly believe that right now, during a cost of living crisis, people aren’t being priced out of tickets when they start from £28?
  5. City fans. So we’d pay £20 to go to Reading away.
  6. To be fair Reading sold out last time, so not possible. However I’d rather the club do the right things for the fans.
  7. Blimey, are we now the Tory Government? Honestly surprised she’s had past experience presenting sports.
  8. All over. Both wing back positions are going to have healthy competition for which is a very good place to be. Some good patches at time, would like to see more attacking threats over than crosses. Overall decent start!
  9. Who is the new presenter? Dire presenter but she’s rather lovely on the eye at least.
  10. I do think we’ve got some great offers this year, but I would rather every game had “accessible” pricing. In regards to away tickets, the discounts would go to our fans. We’d be paying £20 for Reading away ourselves then.
  11. Well there’s two things here. Firstly we’d get £20 tickets for Reading, so it’s even anyway. Secondly I think we need to have £20 tickets in the Home End for non members in the first place. English Football is pricing fans out the game. £28-33 to be behind the goal is bonkers in my opinion.
  12. Football itself needs to sort itself out. Even if we charged £40 a ticket it wouldn’t even cover our wages. Why are fans the ones penalised? Why do I need to stump up more to cover wages? Why can’t players take pay cuts so business can become sustainable? We’ve let Palmer go, on roughly £20k a week. If we charged Reading fans £20 instead of £28 I think I read it’ll cost us £9k. That’s less than half of Palmers salary. And then in return we can get cheaper tickets to the away game. Why do we have to pay for Lansdown mistakes? We don’t even sell out so it’s not a supply and demand issue.
  13. Aren’t we back now? I assumed he’s flying to Bristol.
  14. Wasn't that offered before Bajic? Bajic would replace OLeary as our number two, with OLeary going on loan. Buse will remain 3rd choice.
  15. Seems weird how quiet this one has gone?
  16. Saw them Sat supporting the Rolling Stones. Was a little underwhelmed to be honest. But it's tough being a support act in Hyde Park when people don't really know you.
  17. I agree. Not sure why any City fans will give him a reception. Although he did do a great job in his last role.
  18. Did it say on our website that O'Dowda signed for Cardiff?
  19. https://www.bcfc.co.uk/news/city-announce-retained-list/ He’s out of contract.
  20. Why would there be? He's left us.
  21. How are Reading above us? A cert to go down IMO.
