  1. We will win each of our last 6. Enter the playoffs with 71pts and surprise everyone. Every team above us fixtures are very tough and can’t see any of them getting more than their requirements for 70 pts. very much tongue in cheek, but what a story that would be. Winning football games is what we all go for. If we won our last 6 no one would care by the beginning of next season who played in them as long as positive additional signings are made.
  2. Much better today. Now twine is back we will be better against teams in a low block. The team set out how they were today with 2 floating 10’s, Pring going down the outside and Roberts joining in with confidence and quality from defence will help us break these teams down. Judge Liam in these last 7 games when he has the players available that he’s wanted and brought in. Twine was his ace in the pack. Let Liam prove he has what it takes when he has the one player we all know the squad needed and has been unfortunately unavailable. Next season add a real championship quality all round physical striker I think he will do well.
  3. Roberts primary position is centre back. The fact we haven’t played him there is not his fault. He’s a very technically gifted centre back. Similar attributes to Naismith.
  4. Singled out Sam Bell as I’ve given him a lot of stick recently, but the last 3 games I can’t fault the shift he’s putting in. Well done Sam!!
  5. Fantastic tonight!! Every single player, coach and Sam Bell to a man. properly enjoyed that performance. we are so much better when teams try to beat us. We struggle against the low block!!
  6. Following last nights game the level of negativity is outrageous. Any City fan there just needs to accept that Leeds are just a much better team than us and have been both home and away. They are a team that are full of players worth millions of pounds and as much as I hate to say it as Leeds is definitely one of my most disliked clubs last night they were outstanding in the press and one of the quickest teams all over the pitch I ever remember seeing. Patrick Bamford is exactly the type of forward we need. Clever movement, link up and also not slow. I know our club called us top 6 squad, and this might be where the upset is coming from, but there are some teams and budgets that when the opposition is on their game in this league (which Leeds were), we simply shouldn’t be able to compete. I am still more than happy to give Manning the time he needs and see what he can do with the lad Medube and Twine in the team. Sykes on the counter and I for one will still be right behind the lads come Wednesday. There was a real lack of belief in the players tonight and it’s the first time they for me looked tired. on to the next one.
  7. Despite the result which isn’t a bad one at all, I really enjoyed the game.
  8. It was a good solid draw but having got infront 2 points dropped. I wasn’t impressed with Bell again, and thought we looked much better once Mcrorie came on the right and Bell was replaced by Cornick. Bell got into promising positions a few times but his touch and delivery all too often are letting him down.
  9. Positives tonight - Nahki and Tommy showing they are good together. Cornick did well when he came on, as did Mcrorie. Williams battled well. The back 3 were decent again. negatives tonight - Set Piece delivery. O Leary , and as all too often Sam Bell.
  10. I’m not asking for the same 11 every game. I’m sure if you watched you’ll admit to me that we looked much more dangerous once both Bell and Mehmeti were replaced.
  11. Would he be anywhere near your starting 11 of a fully fit squad GrahamC. i love listening to everyone’s opinions and am always open as everyone sees the game differently. isn't that what makes our game the best game on earth?
  12. You’ve said it in your own words. Squad player. I’ll challenge anyone to tell me he’d be anywhere near their first pick in any position. Even 2nd pick for any position when everyone is available.
  13. I want to absolutely rinse him on here tonight so he proves me wrong. I would love nothing more!
  14. I’ll get behind whoever pulls on the shirt, support them through the game and my judgement will be made come the final whistle. I’m hoping I’m eating some humble pie come 10pm.
  15. I’d have rather seen Gardner Hickman at RWB, James and Williams central and Sam Bell back at the HPC.
  16. Tbf ……. I can get by the Knight positioning, and Wells coming into the team. Williams has been great of Late it’s just Sam Bell has been looking like a League 2 player at best. I wonder if his Dad was someone else whether his career would have took a similar path to Sam Pearson.
  17. Fair play you got it right!? I’m not confident! No confidence at all in this. Hoping the boys prove me wrong.
  18. To add a bit of weight to my argument I’m fed up of seeing Sam Bell bring nothing to games. The times he beats a man the end product is woeful and the times he doesn’t he gets brushed off the ball so easily and really does look lost defensively at wingback.
  19. Hi all, is anyone travelling from Midsomer Norton who I could jump in with tonight?
  20. Hi all, Just wondering if anyone has any tickets for tonight’s game and now can’t go? I couldn’t go but now can and would like to make the trip down south. if anyone has unused tickets please let me know.
  21. Just seen Lansdown is doing a Q&A session for the bears before Fridays fixture? Should he not be doing the same for the fans of the football club or is he currently avoiding this at all costs as he knows he isn’t as well backed at the moment as in previous years? the underlying belly of emotion towards him currently certainly seems to be very rocky at best. Thoughts?
  22. Simple maths indicate that we could get a player on £10K a week for 2 years based on the potential compensation fee for Massengo. If we gave someone a 3yr contract this is only a 500k ish investment contract wise. if we spent 5% of the Scott fee on a creative player that gives us 1.25M which I’m sure there are players available for that who might at least get us off our seats once in a game at home.
  23. Seems our minds have to be fast as the clubs currently isn’t. Whilst I see we have a more balance squad, left to right, unfortunately it’s not so balanced front to back. we may have cover for each position but I don’t feel any offer creativity (Knight could prove me wrong). Weimann isn’t the man when fit. well yes we have 2 players for all positions within the current formation. We have zero players with that creative link and the workload on nahki is surely too much.
