  1. Bristol City majority shareholder Steve Lansdown has explained the surprise sacking of first-team coach John Pemberton by saying he did not fit into the club's future plans. Pemberton and chief scout Des Taylor parted company with the Sky Bet Championship strugglers ahead of Tuesday's 1-1 home draw against Norwich. The result left City in the relegation zone with Lee Johnson's side having won only two of their last 22 league games. "John has been part of the Bristol City family for the past four years, playing a lead role in the coaching team," Lansdown told the official club website. "However, when reviewing our plans for the future John was unfortunately not part of them. Johnson commented on Pemberton's exit after the Norwich game, saying: "I cannot say too much. But it was a club decision involving myself and the board. "We believe these decisions have been taken for the long-term benefit of the club. "The club has a young, hungry philosophy, and bringing Jamie McAllister on (as Pemberton's replacement) should be celebrated. "I would like to wish John all the best. He's a good guy and I have no issues with him."
  2. Whilst annoying for BCTV subscribers when we do get a sky game - its always very easy to pick up a live stream
  3. Scott Murray - Darren Caskey - Tony Rougier all on one day i seem to remember ! (I may have this completely wrong !!!!!)
  4. There is no Train from fuengirola to Marbella.... Tuesdays game is actually in La Linea which boarders Gibraltar so around a 45 min drive from Marbella. Marbella port is a good place to go for beers or if by Marbella people mean Puerto Banus then my recommendation would be to stay clear unless your happy paying 3 x more for a beer... Navy bar in Banus is full of hookers.
  5. This has to be the best value out of all the above suggestions.... over 2 goals at 1.73 is also good value....
  6. We don’t have any sound on BCTV either for the live stream....
  7. Robbie Savage and Neil Lennon when they were up and coming for Crewe looked class at the gate and players who would go on to do well... Stan Collymore didnt score a hattrick ?????!!!!!! I could also have sworn that he did in a game around Xmas... Strange !
  8. I read it as one goal only in the second half of each game - but i could be wrong !
  9. Every game in the championship to be a draw (except City) - various odds / all singles 1 goal or more in every champions league game this evening - 7/2 Man City, Liverpool, Spurs to score (combined) 9 goals or more - 5/1 (All with William Hill)
