James has 2 years left on his contract. He does unfortunately seem to have a touch of the Brunts about him since coming back from injury. Thought he looked good earlier in the season, but largely ineffective since his return from the sidelines.

Won’t be Palmer as he’s under contract unless it’s been terminated.
Think we’ll release Britton and O’Dowda
Be in talks with/retain Klose and Cundy
Unsure on King, clearly a good player off the pitch and when he’s played I don’t think he’s been bad. Not sure he’ll get much games next season though
King and James id release two slow for championship football .

I’ve never understood why people have used Britton as a stick to beat NP with. The fact is, Pearson has given first team chances this season to Scott, Benarous, Towler, Conway, Bell, Idehen who are all younger or a similar age, so he’s not scared to throw youth in. He’s seen Louis day in, day out, and has concluded he’s not good enough - also not pulled up trees at conference level.
He can clearly score goals, but the conclusion of the management seems to be he’s not scoring them at this level, and as NP sees him day in, day out, I’m happy to back his judgement here.
Gas interested aswell .

So with City planning next seasons defensive who can you see staying and going from the latest crop?
Zak Vyner, Thomas Kalas, Nathan Baker, Timm Klose, Rob Atkinson, Duncan Idehen, Rob Cundy, Ryley Towler and Taylor Moore.
I can see 5 of the 9 going with another 23/24 year old league one defender coming in.
I would keep Klose, Atkinson, Idehen, Towler and new CB.
Loan out Towler keep cundy he will get fitter and better .

Let’s say we keep Cundy and Klose. Sell Kalas, Vyner, Moore. That would give us:
RB: Tanner
CB: Klose, Atkinson, Cundy, Idehen
LB: DaSilva, Pring
Plus youth players still to come through. It’s pretty well documented we’re after an RB and another CB. That would be a fairly sensible squad numbers and talent wise. As for Pring, as others said, number of factors and in reality he’ll come back around.
Would do this save on kallas wages havent missed him these lads at back getting better and stronger .

My son has lost his wallet and thus his season ticket. I’m guessing there must be a process whereby he proves who he is and can be issued with a substitute ticket (I’m sure ur happened before but can’t remember what we did). Does anybody know what we need to do?
Thanks in anticipation.Think as it's last game he will need to pay a fiver with proof of name an address

Jesus, Russell Osman was a liability when he played for us. 2nd goal he's about 30 yards behind the rest of the defence playing them onside. Then 'calls' an offside trap that an under 13s side could have sprung for the 3rd goal
And managing

Maybe in the hope that it makes a few of them think about knuckling down and doing the job they're paid to do, at an acceptable standard rather than the below par performances many of the players put in?
Well they haven't knuckled down for the majority of the season .

I hate them so much if they go up which looks likely lets hope its in third position the last thing we want for those scumbags is a big day out at wembley if they go up in third position they get no money and no glory for finishing third place in a shit league .

I will renew (haven't yet) but if I don't see improvement this coming season it could well be my last. After more than 60 years of watching City I no longer get the buzz of the matchday experience and when we are playing so poorly night games have become a chore rather than a desired pilgrimage.
Exactly the same

Listening to Nige after the dismal showing against a 10 men Posh he reckoned that City lacked “personalities” amongst other things.
To me one of the main roles of the on pitch captain is to galvanise and motivate his team mates as well encourage the younger less experienced lads and with Bentley tucked away in goal he’s not able to fulfil that role for sometimes lengthy periods of the game.
Would it not be a better option to appoint an outfielder, preferably a midfielder to do the job? Possibly James or Williams both of whom are experienced in Championship?
They probably wont play half the games be out injured

Him and Burt had a good eye for players, adding to the promotion crew:
- Gray and Maguire
- Fredericks
- Liam Moore
- Baker
- Callum Robinson
Agree Dave a couple of players he needed could have saved the chairman a lot of money long term and although league one what a joy to watch it was with cotts onboard .

It would be the most Bristol city thing ever. And for that reason it would not surprise me. If he came back I would be done with the club.
Same here his bullshit still ringing in my ears now after all this time .

The Lansdowns are entirely responsible for the situation we’re in — for sacking Cotts, for letting that crook Ashton have anything to do with the club, for appointing LJ, for taking six weeks to appoint Holden. 20+ years and what’s changed on the field? Very little. They refuse to structure the club properly, with a sporting director or DoF, no scouting network, no long-term plan at all, limping from one crisis to another. They are the problem and nothing will change — for better or worse — until they are gone.
Spot on his fall out with cotts has put us back ten years at least.

All very valid comments, some of which I agree with.
As I said, it just wouldn’t surprise me, he’s “very out there” in the media at the mo’, and I could see SL picking up on that.
Hope he does it before I renew then Dave that would finish me off . Cant put up with no more of that .

If not incompetent blagger comes back you can shut the doors. One of the worst mangers in our long list of terrible managers. To work in the academy fine, but nothing more.
Exactly no more poison in the club .

He, Cundy and Klose did very well considering the amount of times Bournemouth got into and around our box. Poor decision by NP to take off Cundy, although overdue chance for Conway - who could have a big future.
Agree Cundy done well wtf was that sub about talk about knock a kids confidence was no worse than klose .
On this day, well the other day, the 6th really
