I think you`re right. If there was any chance it would have at least been hinted at tonight with more detail in tomorrow`s document. I suspect the PL/EFL have already made a decision not to complete the season (not my preference TBF) and have advised the Government accordingly. We`ll hear something around midweek to give the clubs time to get their refund policies in order I imagine.

Bolton & Reading are good shouts. Colchester and Derby too. Brighton ? I think that`s pretty much all student accommodation round there isn`t it? I think MK Dons from memory is near the M1 and away from housing too. I`ve mentioned before as well that does it have to be football grounds? I`m thinking of Sandy Park (Exeter Rugby) down here - right by the M5, one way in and out and a hotel on site. There might be some non-league grounds too - Fylde`s new stadium for instance is a fair way from anything I think.

They really do have this mindset - it`s bizarre. They would be happy to fail provided we failed in a bigger way. Most of them would die happy if they were one point ahead of us, even if it was in Conference South at the time. I often use this analogy - if a City fan came across a s*g drowning in the canal and offered his hand to help the s*g would rather pull him in with him than let him help him out.

You`d think, given all the times it`s happened to them, they would be aware of the old proverb `pride (or in s*g speak, unlucky da shit) comes before a fall` but evidently not!

It was even better than just not seeing it coming, they`d actually celebrated avoiding it!

It is clear that they will not have fans there if they are played but the club can offer alternatives rather than refunds - live streaming to ST holders or whatever. It is then up to the individual what they opt for. If the games don`t happen we will get refunded I`m sure. They`re doing the right thing in waiting to see what the EFL decide but running different scenarios (as we know!) to cover all the options.

I think they will have to. Under the Sale Of Goods Act(?) fans are not receiving the product they have paid for (watching live football, from your seat in a stadium) so a refund must surely have to be offered. That`s not to say fans shouldn`t have other options should they choose to take them up (free Robins TV subs, a `free` ST for the next full season etc.) but the option of a refund will have to be there by law I think. One thing I hope the club don`t do though is penalise those ST holders that opt for the refund - they must IMO have the opportunity to retake their seat at existing ST prices in future seasons and not be treated as new ST holders.

That day has certainly provided us with some Vintage Stuff!

One thing to consider sadly is what happens if some clubs go bust potentially leaving gaps in the divisions?

Just prolonging the agony. if there have to be sporting casualties as a result of the virus this is one no-one in their right mind would shed any tears over.
