I`d be more confident if Schumacher was still in charge bizarrely. Back then they really went at teams at Home Park and almost relied on outscoring the opposition but now under Foster they do sit in more and. as we know, we struggle with teams like that.
UB40 to perform as Birmingham City FC's ground renamed - BBC News
I don`t know about anyone else but St Andrews@Knighthead Park doesn`t exactly roll off the tongue!
No idea what the reason behind renaming it is either. Ashton Gate@Greville Smyth Park anyone?
I remember that Orient one. Stuck in the middle of Salisbury Plain for hours and it was bloody freezing! I think we got free tickets for the Gills trip as compo.
That was a cup game IIRC. We could have won it in the last minute of normal time (hit the post?) and they went on to win 1-0 in ET - Dwight Marshall scored I think. It was a bit weird though being led across the pitch.
I miss the old season ticket books where you tore out the ticket for each game and handed it over. All those vouchers at the back too for cup games etc., did we ever have to use any of them?
I never appreciated how much travelling there was in that league. It`s obviously skewed by Mousehole being there but still Bideford to Malvern is a fair old hike!
