Okay, finally gone through the accounts.  Apologies if repeating previous posts.

Loss for year: £3m less £0.9m write off of all the UWE stuff = £2.1m of which £0.3m interest.

Closing debt (note 23) £8.6m up from £7.2m.  Lots of other creditors up which will unwind into the debt when paid off.

The facility Dwane Sports has provided was £10m, secured against the ground, but this is now raised to £15m.

This is all at 30 June 2017.

So roll it forward to the edn of this season; another loss of £2.1m so debt at 30 June 2018 is £10.7m of which only £10m is secured (tallies with the out of secured money by March which we thought).

The raising of the RCF to £15m suggests the owners will now fund, at risk as there's no further security, two more seasons taking the debt to £15m of which they are £5m at risk.

The pre-emption rights waiver suggests that there will also be capital injections which is effectvely money written off.

So it looks like they are risking another £5m to fund the next two seasons.  I struggle to see the point of that if they intend to sell (far better just to sell now) so it's watch this space.  I can understand why Sir Steve funds City because he has a vision for the club and Bristol sport in general.  Why they wish to set fire to £5m does escape me.

    Well done the CSF! :city:

1] they paid off the debts of the previous owners including the wonga loan.
2] They bought a great piece of land to develop a training facility.
3] They invested in coaches at various levels of the club.
4] They introduced a development squad as a bridge between academy football and senior football.
5]  They got darrell clarke signed up on a 5 year contract.
6]  They paid fees for 5 players partington, burn, nichols, mensah and sercombe, only sercombes fee of 150k was disclosed.
7] We now have proper water sprinklers built into the pitch.
8] We have 21 senior pro footballers.
9] we have an electronic scoreboard and other superficial improvements to the ground.
    10] were introducing electronic turnstiles.
11] we now have a CEO.
12] We have a statistical analysis [will dubey] .

    Question marks?
    1]We are losing money.
Most clubs have overall debt, some as high as £100m+ but even so we dont want to be losing money.
2]The charge against the mem, some say totally normal business practise, others think its a sinister threat to the club.
3]But what about the new ground or redeveloped ground?some say give them time, others say nothing will ever happen.
COST OF GETTING A NEW GROUND,TRAINING FACILITY AND PROMOTION WINNING TEAM?

£60-80m maybe? can this be done with our new  owners?
    YES OF COURSE IT CAN

5 years from now we will be in the championship with a better ground,a great youth set up and a bright future.

You almost have to feel sorry for them. Almost.

Even these downwardly revised ambitions are just so much pie in the sky :(

Don’t forget the thousands of us in the away end that helped swell the ‘crowed’ to 10 ½ thousand.

Must be 35000 locked out today, or a cycle race, or a sale in Poundland to judge by the attendance

I saw some paint drying on Filton Avenue. Might be that...

If if anyone on here ‘chose’ to support City I can’t see how it is the ‘easier option’ - when I was growing up and going to most games home and away we were plummeting from the top division to division four in record time, then we went through the hellish times of 1982 that you just love to crow about (you know, when you tried to steal Ashton Gate from us when we were at our lowest ebb) and on top of all that I saw us fail in win in ten consecutive games against the roverzzz from 1987 to 1991 - all that certainly wasn’t ‘easy’ I can assure you...wouldn’t have missed it for the world though...

Now, be fair. It was good practice for when they stole the Memorial Ground.

I was awoken last night by four Bristol city fans playing football in the street with a hedgehog, I was absolutely disgusted and about to call the RSPCA, when the Hedgehog went 1-0 up.

Except that Horace posted the joke about three Gasheads just over four years ago...
