  1. Don't think Nagy will start ahead of Walsh this season wouldn't be surprised to see him sold on
  2. I don't think Massengo started any of the games under Holden so that would suggest he doesn't rate him Johnsons mistake last season was bringing in Nagy amd Massengo he ended up with a midfield that wasn't defensive or creative and was dreadfully unentertaining and all the problems stemmed from that so surely Holden won't do the same thing
  3. Massengo will not be in the starting line up next season one of the good things Holden did in the games in charge last season was to take him out of the team. Not good enough at the moment Walsh Morrell and a new defensive midfielder will likely be the midfield for next season. With Holden as head coach we may discover if the academy is producing the quality required as I feel a few of them will be given an opportunity in the first team.
  4. Personally I am happy with Holdens possible appointment for the reasons you've mentioned I want to see the academy players given an opportunity to play in the first team would that of happened under Hughton very unlikely he would most probably have wanted to bring in several players at big cost to the club. Johnsons mistake last season was bringing in players who weren't as good as what was already available to him amongst the younger players. So if this is the route the club has chosen the fans should get behind it or put themselves out of their misery and walk away it could be worse you coul
  5. No the post I was replying to said there would be a fan revolt everyone has an opinion but to be constantly attacking the board and the owner hanging banners up basically having a meltdown is something I don't endorse. If Holden gets the job he obviously interviewed very well and they have decided its in the best interests of the club at this present time Hughton may have asked for too much money and the club couldn't afford it we weren't there at the interviews, if it is Holden give him a chance and support the club that's what I will be doing
  6. They can always go and find another club to support if they aren't happy with the decisions made by man whose spent tens of millions on the club i
  7. So you know for certain he wouldn't be successful if he's appointed he just might surprise everyone.
  8. Who apart from maybe Holden who's seen as a continuation of Johnsons tenure is a disappointing appointment
  9. Who would really want to go highly likely masks would have to be worn and the nearest person 10 seats away great atmosphere that would be muffled cheering. Rather not bother
  10. Maybe dispense with the Ashton role altogether, the manager selects the team and is responsible for results so should sign the players he wants City didn't have to follow this continental rubbish like every other club where the manager is given players to work with its hardly been successful for us it would be interesting to discover just how many of the current squad arrived without any input by Johnson. I would suggest Massengo certainly is in that category. Who better than the man who picks the team to sign the players too.
  11. What boxes does he tick? Why bother stretching this process out if Chris Hughton wants the job appoint him now
  12. What evidence is there that he's a great motivator winning a few games in the Dutch league at one of the big three clubs is not an amazing feat he's done nothing , Mark Robbins at Coventry would be the choice knows the league and got the best out of the best player currently on Citys books but would he leave Coventry for Bristol City though at this time.
  13. Which players signed this season are very talented? if there are any they are disguising it very well
