  1. Several good performances against the better sides in the division has gone unnoticed by some but most of us can see very encouraging signs under this manager and with the likely additions in the summer particularly up front next season could and probably will be spent in and around the top 6.
  2. Yet again? the first goal conceded in 5 games so haven't started playing after going behind too much of late have they.
  3. Some people it seems have continuously got to find new sticks in which to beat the ownership and Liam Manning with.Would never consider that just perhaps this group has been thoroughly assessed and at present very few if any are of the required standard. Who but those with the same tired agenda could possibly think if City had a brilliant player in the academy he wouldn't be fast tracked into the first team of course he would..
  4. 75 games in the championship 17 goals( quite a few penalties included) under 2 different managers would suggest that he is exactly what he looks very average. I expect the forward line and also the midfield will look somewhat different in August and won't include Tommy Conway, I would sell for as much as possible which ids probably a couple of million at best.
  5. I have to disagree with you that the teams in the list above all have some very good players the standard of international teams has never been lower for instance Italy once had the quality of Baggio and Vieri up front and the Dutch Van Basten and Bergkamp kind of sums it up really .
  6. It's very difficult to accurately assess just how good Southgate's England really are, the qualifiers have become a formality due to the poor quality of opposition you could imagine England book the tournament HQ as soon as the draw for the groups has been concluded. And the very favourable routes to the latter stages in 2018 and the subsequent Euro's has perhaps led to an over estimation of this current group and some now expect England should be winning every game against any opposition when in reality they probably aren't any better than previous eras or maybe not even as good. However most of the traditionally strong nations in Europe and indeed the world i.e Germany Holland even Brazil are at their lowest ebb so maybe football will come home this summer but in my opinion it won't be because it's the best England team ever rather a lack of good sides in the tournament.
  7. I agree it's inconsistent and unpredictable but good performances aren't that rare, the last 6 games have included Southampton and Ipswich a performance that merited at least 1 point and probably all 3. it's nowhere near as bad as you would think based on the views of OTIB members who just want to find a way to be negative about the club and certain personnel.
  8. Wouldn't be surprised to learn that you said the exact same thing prior to the Southampton game too
  9. Did you say it in the games against Watford and West Ham ?
  10. I would imagine their wage bill is also far superior to Bristol City's as well so not really surprising they have better players is it.
  11. I think city will score 3 today hopefully a couple from Conway as apert from the Rotherham game he hasn't really shown much this seson so far.
  12. Then why keep going over it again and again. Who really cares in fact one person I highly doubt gives a stuff whether his photo is included or not and that's Nigel Pearson he's probably moved on like some on this forum should.
  13. Doesn't play for city anymore so don't really care
