  1. Benik Afobe has more time to recover, every cloud....
  2. I would say so Yes - same 11. Not sure who you could drop after yesterday.
  3. Great idea. It’s ruining a great forum.
  4. CHAMPIONSHIP: Poor - NO. More competitive - YES.
  5. Do we always look to blame the manager or do we accept player power? Rumblings of LJ having a few arguments but isn’t that what you want from a coach? People talking of sulking players. Get over it, take some criticism! I watched Huddersfield and the 5/6 that were dropped - I thought was the right call. Back to basics for me was the correct move and would have taken a point before travelling yesterday. I think our league position is about right for where we are as a team. The January window balls’d up a really good fighting spirit and clean sheets. We all asked for a marquee signing - BUT we also sold a marquee player in Brownhill. It’s going to take time to fill his boots. I hate the January transfer window!
  6. Totally agree but everyone is entitled to their opinions but I must say what I saw last night can’t be blamed on the manager. The players were rabbits in headlights - kicking the ball away, no movement, no commitment. Until the changes were made we looked awful. I thought that dropping Williams was a good move - just for a rest, but Kalas seems to have come back really undercooked, slow and awkward in possession. I have also never seen Hunt give the away so many times. We need to take a deep breath and look at the league table and try to muster at least 6 wins in the run in. If we look around at other teams in the playoff area - they are having the same blip. It’s the time of the season that every dog is fighting for a scrap of meat. The most concerning part are the shots on target from open play. Personally I don’t think Fammy and Wells can play up front together at this moment but we are missing Mr Brownhill! On to the next!
  7. This is an unreal post. So if he loves money why is he bailing us out every year and not walking away?!! He earns more in interest than he will ever earn at Bristol Sport. Can you advise where you think SL is making ‘serious coin’ owning this club? We see the balance sheet every year - then SL often balances the books by putting in another £20 million.
  8. Don’t bother then! Watch from the radio(!!) and still slate everything that’s going on at Ashton Gate. New stadium - development - squad development - you’ll be asking for Warnock next. Money doesn’t grow on trees - ask Man City and FFP.
  9. Very negative comments - where is the positivity?!!!!!! West Brom wages - ex premiership - we are no where near that but 3 points outside the playoffs!
  10. VERY NEGATIVE ON THOS FORUM! Rubbish - get a effing grip!
  11. Oh well - stop watching - very negative on this forum. Let’s give up.
