  1. Credit to Barton. He made Rovers so unbearable I still haven't and can't see myself ever returning.
  2. To the non boxing expert eye thought Fury was lucky to walk away with a win
  3. Whats it mean for Fury if he loses this?? Be a bit embarrassing surely
  4. Shame I have to come on here to celebrate it as many on GasChat believe he’s the messiah and can do no wrong. **** offfff out of my club Barton.
  5. Barton is just blaming anyone but himself. Biggest budget in our history. Been allowed to chop and change the back room team as he sees fit. Players he’s had on loan who he’s wanted (Taylor included!!) he has come out and said aren’t good enough. If a player says they're unfit then why the hell are you starting them in the second half!! How he can talk about being infuriated at players letting the team down after his own career is astonishing!!! What a ******* idiot
  6. So on the JB thing a lot of gas over on our forum saying it could be nothing - could be as little as a push and everyone’s getting worked up etc. Wait for the full story(why didn’t the club?) I have saw the tweets from the alleged sister of the alleged victim and they’re not great reading. One implies he punched her head from behind unprovoked and repeatedly, knocked her to the ground and carried on and also spat at her. Some more digging reveals she’s said that there is footage and he also attacked police on the scene. So there’s footage out there and also tweets with a version of what happened from someone allegedly related to the alleged victim yet some of our moronic idiots are defending it, playing it down and some even saying well lucky us cos we’ve got a good player out of it when we wouldn’t have otherwise!!! Even if this is false if the club have done their due diligence they would have found this and waited until the trial!! I thought Joey and his nonsense was the final straw but the way gas fans have reacted is completely embarrassing and I don’t think I could ever go to the same stadium full of so many people with so little morals even after Joeys gone.
  7. I've taken some time before commenting. As said before I haven't attended since Joey. I was seriously hoping although still a bad move the club had released the rumour with the intent of seeing the reaction before signing him. What's more embarrassing is the amount of fans who are defending it and then attacking those who are against it. Some of the comparisons made have been utterly embarrassing. Everyone from management to board level at the club are absolutely vile throughout. Not my football club and likely won't be for a very long time.
  8. It's a mess now for sure, but prior to B teams every lower league team would have wanted to win it as it's realistically the only shot at a trophy they'll have.
  9. Even Gerrard looked good in Scotland
  10. Awful appointment. Kane will leave.
  11. Dislike everything about Wrexham at the minute. Used to moan about money clubs now revel in it whilst being far worse than all of those before them. Though I suppose in reality every club wants to be the money club. It’s nice when things are going well but when things don’t go so well I wonder how they’ll react. As it is their owners can do no wrong but we’ll see.

    Playoffs

Locks certainly a very good Championship defender and certainly knows how to wind you lot up
  13. Vale fans absolutely fuming with his dismissal. A lot going on behind the scenes it seems and the reason for their downfall is due to the owner Carol and the DOF she appointed and decisions they made. Seems they're trying to make the club "Championship ready" but that meant no transfers, with only 5 permanent additions since being promoted. Great lower league manager, who knows what he can really achieve if he went to a club who had a decent budget. Frankly I find the constant insults of a man who has no relevance to your club slightly weird. I got it whilst he was our manager but get a grip mate.
  14. Yes. Lots of it, unjustified too.
  15. Can not believe the reaction people have had to what Kane done! Yet it's not good but EVERYONE does it. If it was the other way round Everton fans would be loving it. It was also a clear red, not as if he dived and deceived the referee. Not sure why Kane gets so much stick from English fans.
  16. He didn’t sack his staff . He told them they could find alternative employment if they wanted too and their jobs would be waiting for them when they re-opened. Amazing how things get portrayed
  17. Please don't put Clarke anywhere near the same sentence as that muppet?! What he achieved for us was far greater. He took over with 8 games left whilst we were sinking quicker than the titanic, took responsibility for the relegation even though it was not on him, built a mostly non-league team and took us from non-league to the brink of the playoffs in League One. Who know's what would have happened if you didn't buy the ?. The atmosphere around the club changed and was really positive for the majority of time too. Not many clubs exit NL at the first attempt. We did so without going down there and throwing money about. We had none. (We still don't,) Barton had like 20 games and saw us finish 5 points adrift of Swindon which seemed impossible, Rejected having anything to do with it despite being worse than both Tisdale and Garner, got us promoted and is still the biggest most arrogant ******** in football despite losing 26/58 League one games with us. Barton has been afforded the opportunity to have a massive backroom team, and to chop and change them as frequently as he sees fit. Clarke IS a legend. Barton will forever be a *****.
  18. Absolutely not. Wrexham are getting a needless "fairytale" love in at the moment. Nothing fairytale at all about having a bigger budget than most L1 clubs, some Champ clubs and then being hailed as massive underdogs when they play these clubs. The ironic thing is that over the years Wrexham fans have moaned about clubs spending beyond their means at that level, Salford, FGR, Stockport, even back to Crawley and Fleetwood etc, and now they are doing it on a far bigger scale. Fairytale is applicable to Chasetown when they reached the 3rd round in 07/08, Havant and Waterlooville who reached the 4th round the same year, Sutton who reached the 5th round in 16/17, Lincoln who reached the quarters the same year, and there's probably a few I've missed.
  19. Look like they'll wrap the window up with Endo Fernandez for 120M. Ridiculous money
  20. Doesn't really make sense . Imperial and Longwell are the two busiest in the region, North St is busy in the sense that it see's a huge amount of customers through the door, Would make sense for a store like North St to have it due to all the other surrounding shops/bars etc but as they don't have it it is weird to see what makes an Aldi qualify for it. (sorry it peaked my interest as I work at Aldi )
  21. Lidl and Aldi are not the same though It's not an issue in any of the local Aldis anyway. Imperial, North St, even Fishponds and Longwell don't use a terminal to enter your reg.
  22. What Aldi is this as I have never seen this? They use Parking Eye but the cameras track the time you enter and the time you leave the car park, if you spend more than the allocated time then they'll fine you but I haven't heard of a single Aldi where you have to enter the details in store.
  23. Not much Kane can do when Spurs are this ineffective. He’s come back to the back line on multiple occasions to try help out! Not his job. The numbers he’s put up this season in what is an awful, negative Spurs side is remarkable really. Be a shame if he retired having stayed at Spurs and won nothing.
  24. Could well be, it's there or abouts. I'd say there's for sure 9 teams you'd expect to have bigger budgets including Plymouth, Sheff Weds, Ipswich, Derby, Bolton, Barnsley, Peterborough, Charlton and Portsmouth and then you probably have the likes of ourselves, Oxford and Possibly Wycombe for the 10-12th places. (Wycombe seem to have been able to recruit really well since their stint in the CH) I also don't take much interest anymore. Haven't seen Rovers since JB and have only watched 3 or 4 live games elsewhere since. Find a way to take yourself out of the football world and you realise you don't really miss it. Though, I do enjoy the mini panic attacks on here recently about the possibility of a derby next season.
