  1. Well, I get what you're saying, but surely the average pro understands what it takes to be a good player at his level more than an ordinary fan ? Additionally, they may be influenced by reports from former team mates now at other clubs in the same division, plus detailed briefings from their managers and coaches about the performances of players they will have been to watch which fans won't have been privy to. All in all I would say a pro is better placed, and it is quite an accolade when your peers do the honours. Just my opinion and I appreciate others will see it differently.
  2. Where Dave, live or tv ?, genuine question.by the way, but of the former, then there's no reason why a pro couldn't have done the same thing.
  3. I note that none of our ones for the future appear in the league one or two selections although agent Akinde is in there.
  4. My money is on big cock to smash Socrates Barton in da foinal turd of the bout.
  5. I wonder if the club has even considered this to be honest.
  6. Derby sold out their allocation, so how easy would it be for them to buy POTD into the Atyeo ?
  7. I think that#s more about the relatively late announcement. We only have so many fans who will be attending, and I suspect a lot of fans (myself included) might have chosen the Atyeo over elsewhere in the ground had we known earlier. Low numbers in there will be food and drink to those who promote giving the whole stand over to away fans.
  8. Let him pick the team then and identify new signings after all he is the catalyst of the entire set up. He has a place in the best seat on the top table, but he should not be anywhere near a dressing room in my opinion. Agree to disagree.
  9. Beg to differ. Players shouldn't give a shit about someone who doesn't (hopefully) have an input on team selection or player recruitment. A rallying call from someone who knows fuckall about the game is cringeworthy. SL has been great for City and the rugby club but should in my opinion stay away from dressing rooms.
  10. He should stay away from dressing room pre and post match. Just my opinion of course.
  11. Gerry's so called rival at Roverzz was Frankie Prince and that was no rivalry whatsoever...
  12. I thought they were a bunch of ***** already so im all spared up to be fair..
  13. Thought his kicking was excellent. Overall looked a very good keeper.
  14. Sorry just edited my post as I now see where you are coming from - I meant i'd get a SC if the Atyeo reopened not the £20 bit.
