Does anyone know why Nige wasn’t in studio as Sky had promised? Love to hear what he would have said.
Do you honestly think the club would have allowed that to happen?

I recon tons would be, I also don’t think the restrictions are as much as an issue now, partly due to the good work of NP,
And this is where our opinions differ (apart from the good work done by NP). I just don’t think that the funds and freedom to run the club a decent manager would want would be offered.

Football management is a desperate business, we are a huge pool to those looking for championship jobs.
You are assuming that the club is an attractive proposition. How many managers do you think are willing to work under the restrictions placed on them by the hierarchy?

Does anyone honestly think that any decent manager (unemployed or not) seeing the way NP is being treated after what he has achieved would touch this club? I don’t.

DOH...........who forgot about the lights ? Another cock-up !
I wonder if they need planning permission to move the floodlight, then there’s the cost of moving it and setting the lamps?????? Then, if they get planning permission for the stand surely the other floodlight will have to be moved as well? Oh well, it would be nothing more than we have come to expect from them

They’ve always had a list, but with the visual pass didn’t always have to ask for your name.
-
I had a parking pass for Pattersons up to this season and as Barkhamred has posted the security guard will have a list of names.

Have any of you who cashed in your reward points for a code to watch the pre season games received them yet?
Mine came through last week (4th).

Ok, I was one of the unsure ones who was going to request a physical ticket but have decided to give the digital one a go. What I have done though is move my wallet to the front page of my iPhone so it is easier to find and open. Also thanks for the advice others have posted which has allowed me to make sure that I have set it up correctly.

Why do they even bother to do that? Have they ever stopped anyone? I don’t even get asked, I just whizz through with Joe, no Pat-down, no bag-check, no-nothing!
Maybe you don’t Dave for whatever reason, but (Winterstoke Road entrance) I get asked to show my ticket and my teenage grandson gets his bag checked.

For those worried about long queues of people fumbling to open the app. There is no app. As long as the phone is switched on, has power, it can just be touched on the reader and entry will be gained.
In theory this should be just as quick and easy as touching with a physical ticket.
There will be long queues of people fumbling to open the app……….. not at the turnstiles, but at the cordon of security people that you have to produce a ticket to, to get into the ground. That’s why I will still request a physical ticket.

Nerdy I know, but 7 seconds into the twitter roof video, one of the images is backwards!
File size restrictions won’t let me add the screenshot.
You may have already sussed this but if you look at the video again, at six seconds there is a reflective surface to Rob’s right, at seven seconds it’s a reflection of Rob off that surface.

I don't think it's that generous - staying the same price, I mean. Compare it with the previous (pre-covid) season.
Last year's was a massive increase which simply made sure that the "Covid refund" was a bit of a sham. Net of the refund we paid just about the same as the previous year IIRC.
I never said that the price was generous

I never said that the price was generous, just surprised (as others have been) that the price (as rumoured) was not a lot more.

Just had my renewal email for Pattersons come through. Same price as last year surprisingly (before the discount for the matches we couldn’t attend due to COVID).
-
I rang the club yesterday regarding renewal of my match day parking at Pattersons. I was told to expect the renewal offer by email early next week. As for cost, your guess is as good as mine but one of my grandsons is autistic and cannot cope with crowded buses making the cost irrelevant.

There was one. It was a slightly older than usual “contestant” who wound Downsy up a bit by being reluctant to take his hints so he let him lose.
