  1. I wonder if he is referring to the egg chasers ko?

    ENJOYMENT

That didn't work for me. I'm in Perth at the moment and watched on Robins TB. Game finished just before 1130pm local time. I was so cross/feed up with the performance & result I couldn't relax and get to sleep . I fear that when I'm back and get to my next game on Jan 1st, our points tally will be the same.
  3. I think Yeboah offers a lot more than Mehmeti as an impact sub.
  4. Wherever he lives, he manages to get to senior Reds most months.
  5. I know that they offer different attributes and skills etc. but when he came on Harry immediately got stuck in and made a significant and worthwhile contribution. Anis barely got involved until he made a great run almost resulting in a goal. Needs to offer more all round and especially defensively.
  6. Nothing but a win will do as we are a front foot attacking team heading for a top six finish.......... apparently
  7. Going back quite a bit, Tony Cook, GK, was often the worse for wear on Boxing Day games. I think !
  8. I tend to agree with you. Plus they dip into the full catalogue of their music. Playing a lot of the early Peter Green tracks. Seen them a number of times and they never disappoint
  9. I've seen Livewire a few times and they are very good. Also the Illegal Eagles are excellent as are the ELO experience. Rumours of Fleetwood Mac are outstanding
  10. Guess that you will pay a premium for restricted view.......and even more for no view
  11. For all of the undeniable individual ability this is a very poor team performance. Made mediocre opponents look quite good.
  12. I respect your thoughts and am aware that you have worked in scouting etc. However Oxford's high end midfield players didn't stop us putting 9 past them in two games earlier this season/preseason. My limited knowledge/observation is based on over 70 years following this club. During that time only three managers have really impressed. AD for obvious reasons, GJ who almost pulled it off, and Cotts who gave me the most enjoyable season ever. I was starting to think that Pearson, given time and backing might have added to the very small list. I have real doubts about the new guy. Mainly because of those in control and making the decisions. I wonder whether getting rid of Pearson was more important to them than appointing Manning. I so want to be proven wrong.
  13. My thoughts are that it is irrelevant how Oxford play. They're in League One. Championship is a big step up(apart from Ipswich ) Also any new coach/manager would surely have encouraged the players to stick with Pearson's style of play for today's game and then use the international break to work on their own particular way that they want to affect change.
  14. Looked like it was the first time they have played together
  15. Yes, you need to be 65 before the 1st August to qualify for the OAP reduction
  16. When SL was at Senior Reds in Feb it was quite clear that it was his empire (my word not his) and he was the decision maker. Obviously though advised by others, and no doubt JL has his ear on footballing matters.
  17. Make no mistake, there's only one person behind all the big decisions and overseeing everything. And it's not Jon
  18. My thoughts as well. Nothing out of the ordinary really. But not as considered and thoughtful as Nige. Different style. I am at loss though to see what a Head coach of a team we dicked 4-1 and 5-1 this year can achieve over the manager of the team inflicting said dickings! Time will tell, but I have a feeling we've been here before
