  1. Same itinerary as North London Red. Flying to volvograd Saturday then onto the other group games and knockout stages. Assuming quarter final is limit of our expectations, but staying out there until we get knocked out. Only then will I think about booking a return flight !!!
  2. If Lee had any balls he'd drop FF for last two games, otherwise Frank will know he'll be picked however badly he plays. Therefore no incentive to improve. But guaranteed that won't happen - Lee makes excuses for all his favourites.
  3. I'll be there, arrive Volvograd on 16th June on one way ticket, will see all England's matches and won't buy a return ticket home till they're knocked out. Sounds mad now I've written it ! But been following City since 1964 (aged 7) so seen it all and nothing surprises me........

    Hörður

Aaron - if we extrapolate your line of reasoning, and get rid of every player that has a bad game/makes mistakes, we'd have a squad of......zero players.

    Hörður

Show me a player who doesn't make a mistake every game. He was solid today, as he was in the second half at Burton last week. The level of criticism from some on here is completely over the top - other players who make mistakes don't get the same level of scrutiny and abuse. Last week when called on at Burton he was very good, whereas Korey couldn't string a pass together - but of course this wasn't highlighted. I commend his commitment and attitude. He's a very important part of our squad, considering he's the one who's picked/dropped depending on who else is injured or suspended. A lot of players would sulk and not give their all when treated like that - not Hörður.

    Diedhiou

The ease with which he was muscled off the ball by smaller players at least half a dozen times showed his lack of desire and commitment. Whereas Djuric showed much more desire, and skill, and won every header.
  7. You're wrong. I understand plain English as well as you do. Why are posters like you so supercilious?
  8. Free travel to Middlesborough would be a brilliant PR move , even more so in the light of the ST pricing fiasco. We'd also get a bigger following in what could be a crunch game. Other clubs have done it, so why not us ?
  9. 'We are not chasing promotion' has to be one of the most ridiculous comments of the season. Glad you have no problem with that.
  10. Shame Vyner wasn't given the same opportunity to impress in a run of games at right back as Kelly is probably going to get now at left back
  11. As has been pointed out in previous posts the British media has gone mad in sensationalising things - they've just started a program on Channel 5 called 'LIVE : The Big Freeze' which goes on for TWO FRIGGIN HOURS !!!!!!!!!'
  12. He'll be back on the politically correct BBC in no time. Its an unpalatable fact, but it needs saying, that if it was a white football pundit who'd made the same unacceptable allegations against a black policeman he would never work on any TV channel ever again. Will he resign from 'kick it out' ? - no chance. Personal apology ? - unlikely. Make excuses ? - definitely.
  13. Speaking as a vet, think that villa fan who's foaming at the mouth could have rabies
  14. Can't agree Maggers had a shocker, that totally ignores the context of his situation. Just remember he's spent most of the season patiently sat on the bench, never complained, always applauds the fans after every game, and never has the chance to be fully 'match sharp'. (Most international players would have thrown their toys out of the pram by now). Then suddenly called on to play a full game and shows great commitment - ok not a perfect performance (is any player ?) but what a great squad player to have.
