I'm a workshop service manager & I use my promotion winning mug at work, the 1st thing any new apprentice is told is never to touch the mug, all the lads in the workshop know that it will be very unlucky for all of them if anything happens to it !!

You shouldn't be on the pitch, simple as that. If you break the rules, accept the consequences. Too many idiots getting involved afterwards, young black steward (not meant as racist, just a description of him) came over to help his colleagues & he just got pushed & threatened by the so called "supporters ". I hope every one of you get picked out by the cctv & get banned, don't need your type in the ground.

As much as Laura is a lovely little thing nothing compares to the more mature weather presenter that is Carol Kirkwood on BBC breakfast telly, I get all tingly when she talks about a warm front !

Very childish, how many young fans would have seen these idiots yesterday & asked their guardians what it meant, how would you begin to explain it ??

Hi Rich, thanks for your comments, wasn't suggesting the steward concerned is a violent person, just commenting on what I witnessed. I would probably agree with you about their lack of training & they must have to deal with some very difficult circumstances but on the flip side we had a medical incident in E28 when somebody was injured celebrating our 3rd goal, the response from the stewards concerned & St John's was brilliant so well done to them for that.

Just as a side note & I don't agree with going on the pitch but I watched 1 of our so called "safety stewards" (the bald 1 pictured on HNM's left arm when escorting him to the tunnel) try to savagely kick the legs out from 1 of the idiots running onto the pitch. I'm assuming the steward was probably wearing protective toe capped boots/shoes & if he had made contact could have quite easily done some serious damage to the limbs of the invader. If he had made contact & caused injury would the steward been charged with assault etc or would it be a case of the the offender shouldn't have been on the pitch ?

Utterly embarrassing & disgusting, I never leave early but I did today, not because of the way the game was going but because I was ashamed to be next to those idiots, I hope you all get picked out by the cameras & are banned for life.

Yes, I would object purely on a selfish level, I work until 12 every Saturday & can't get from work (Chipping Sodbury) to home (Yate) to pick up my son & then get across Bristol, parked & in my seat by 1, not possible.

I think the linesman running the Lansdown side had a new flag & just wanted to show it to everyone !
