  1. Been a good season.....yes would have been nice to make the playoffs but we are now clearly a consolidated Championship team....I'm off to Millwall on Tues to sing until my throat is sore......(tin hat on)
  2. To be fair I think that Johnson cannot be held to account for poor officiating....I think that he has worked hard with the budget he has been given. We have progressed season on season. I'm as livid as everyone but we have to remain objective......were 8th in the league and (by many accounts) with players who are reportedly substandard and lack passion.....we've had a good season.....with an outside chance of promotion....sadly it's not our year...
  3. That would mean admitting he was a bad buy.....never gonna happen
  4. Prediction: 3rd Round FA Cup 3rd Round Carabao Cup. Fail to secure a striker in August/Jan20 Fail to gain promotion (12th)
  5. Worse than Gavin Ward......never thought I'd say that!

    Paterson

He's had quite a lot of stick over the past few seasons.....today he was one of the few who turned up and played for it. Well done Jamie!
  7. The engine is most definitely tired......we need an injection of faith and motivation to oil the cogs of what was (once) a sight to behold..........want to see Pack playing beautiful disguised balls through to Fam and Weimann.....like he used too....sadly he's shattered.
  8. I wonder how the new appointment is being perceived now?......
  9. I get extremely frustrated by the lack of consistency....if every ref (and linos) laid their stall out and were subsequently consistent in the application of thier decisions then I could accept it. There are clear and obvious issues that are left due to a willingness to upset (our pen against QPR was won by the crowd....the ref was hesitant but gave it after the massive reaction from the crowd)..... One travesty is that Linos don't seem to have the courage of thier convictions....against Reading the Lino on the Dolman side went to raise his flag for offside (which the player clearly was) and then checked himself..... I appreciate that reffing is a high pressure, difficult and about perspectives....and therefore inevitably that there will inevitably be questionable decisions.....bu there seems to have been more of those this season than previous seasons.....

    Poor

Morning Campers! After much deliberation with myself over the past 14 hours I have come to the following conclusions.... 1. We were off the boil yesterday...and (like many other posters) believe that we just had multiple things going wrong (crosses, overhit passes etc). 2. Pack is probably distracted by his home circumstances (I believe he's just become a father) and it's possible he hasn't been sleeping properly (i remember those days). Admittedly he's not been up to this standard of his playing last year but he does put a shift in. 3. I agree that our home form is terrible. We've had some good results at home but these wee often off the back of bad performances (not including WBA for example....there have been some great parts of games). We do have 1 more home game and the remainder are away....if our away form is reasonable then we stand a good chance of still making 6th. 4. We've just had a wake up call....maybe this will motivate the players to press on....some of them may not want promotion however as they realise that they could be looking for new employment if we did (and this is obviously a large step into the dark) achieve promotion as they would look to take forward the best etc. 5. We are not out of it yet.....but we are teetering on the edge of another season of Championship footy......come on LJ motivate them, inspire them and get them to pull a little 4 game winning run. All is not lost.....just frustrating. COYRs
  11. Short Answer.....no.....(tin hat on)

    Eliasson

I'd take anything over the 1 10 Formation we seemingly play for the last 15 minutes of every game....#sattoodeep
  13. As I've said on another thread.....let's see what happens with the 1500 KOs first....
  14. They've lost two key defenders through injury......you never know...
