  1. RedDave - I'm one of those that genuinely proposed a question about a potential relegation battle if we dropped like a stone on a run of 8-10 bad results (which we have had historically). I'm grateful that the team won today....despite not playing well.....I concede that we have had 2 results go our way....but the manner of those wins is worrying....we are playing like a team IN a relegation battle.....I have never wished for our team to lose....just hope that we find our form soon. I sincerely hope that, once we've pipped 6th, we can both enjoy a promotion battle....and laugh about this period retrospectively.....I still thought my question (in the context of the time it was posted) was valid...and I stand by that. I believe that we all (humanity) are losing the ability to disagree amicably.......all of this is, after all, opinion.
  2. To be fair...if that's the case we'd be dropping 60% of the team....
  3. Like when we played Birmingham on the last day of the season for a play off place?
  4. And you can guarantee we will obtain promotion to the Prem in the same timescale with the yet to be decided replacement can you? When considering unknowns etc.....
  5. I have a lot of time for that
  6. I don't like what I'm seeing on the park....winning ugly is part of football at times. No guarantee that a new manager would result in a bounce..... SL isn't going to let him go after signing a new contract.... Why waste time venting about why he should go.....save your energy for shouting at the Gate. If we were at the bottom on the league looking at relegation....I'd be calling for him to go....we're not.....so he has my support (Tin hat on...braced for incoming......we seem to be losing the ability to amicably disagree with each other) COYRs
  7. He was involved in play by pressing the defender that cleared the ball to Fam......the defender would have had more time etc had Wstkins not been there......therefore he has impacted play hence the offside....however painful it is....its the right decision. COYRs
  8. I heading up! So we'll have at least one away fan
  9. I loved the skill required by Wilbraham for his goal for Rochdale......he is still such class.
  10. Like LJ only has a visable presence when we win......as soon as we lose LJ is straight down the tunnel.....why would Ashton be any different....?
  11. BBC indicates that the reverse fixture of yesterday's FA Cup 3rd Round is on 14th Jan 20 at 1945! Any idea when the away tickets will be put on the BCFC website?
  12. Doesn't look like a man under pressure at all does he? I think we are all going to have to endure a few bad results...its pretty clear to me that he doesn't appear to be going anywhere anytime soon.... COYRs
  13. I love this! Brilliant post!
  14. My two Brother in Laws (who live in and support Shrews) can't rip the sh1t out of me until the end of the month!
