  1. MK Dons new assistant manager - good luck to him!
  2. It's no longer in main event, so you'll need to turn over to football
  3. The Old No 7 is a nice pub for interesting beer. Tipsy Cow is a nice micropub but might get too busy as it's quite small. There are quite a few pubs near Old No 7 which are decent - which you should be able to drink in easily
  4. I haven't heard much racism at City games, but have heard much more sexist and homophobic language. I do think it's decreasing but not quite there yet.
  5. Agreed - the best promoted teams usually do well by keeping their squad (mostly) together and then adding a couple of others. But they keep the winning formula. Barnsley have always been known to recruit well, but losing Pinnock and Moore and not replacing them was fatal in my opinion.
  6. Stendel is gone. Their defence is non existence and they rely on Woodrow to score them goals. He's scored a few screamers but doesn't have enough service to score enough "normal" goals really. Shame but I would be surprised if they stayed up. They really miss players like Pinnock who were key to their defence.
  7. Ali from NTT20 is a Chelsea fan, the other guy, George, is an Oxford fan.

    2019 poppy pin

Yes there will be new ones this year - as well as Bristol rugby ones but not in stock yet.
  9. I'm not 100% sure how Brentford will match up though. They've been playing with a back 3/5 for a while after they were conceding lots of goals. But this season have struggled to score as freely as last year after the loss of Maupay. On Sunday vs Barnsley away they played 4 at the back which the fans were all really pleased about which meant that Canos could run up the wing, and Benrahma could terrorise Barnsleys defence leaving Watkins to head the ball into the back of the net. But then again - Barnsley looked very poor and don't look like the will score many goals this season so Frank be more careful vs us.
  10. Yes it has. Remember when Sakho played for West Ham vs us in the FA Cup and shouldn't have played? We then lost 1-0 (Sakho goal) and West Ham got a small fine.
  11. You can get a refund for your oyster in plenty of ways. Either online, by post, on the phone or at the tube station. It's not that difficult - or you can put it in a charity box at plenty of tube stations so the leftover money and deposit refund goes to charity. https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/travel/oyster-card-refunds/

    Brentford away

The away capacity is always about 1,600 for Brentford. It's the whole stand, upstairs and downstairs. They can't sell every seat in top tier because of fire restrictions, but it's most of them.
  13. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2019/09/26/exclusive-derby-captain-richard-keogh-injured-inmason-bennett/ The Derby County captain Richard Keogh was injured in the car collision on Tuesday night that saw his teammates Mason Bennett and Tom Lawrence charged with drink-driving, Telegraph Sport has learned. It is expected that Phillip Cocu will confirm the news that Keogh has a suspected fractured wrist and also injured his knee when the Derby head coach holds his weekly press briefing at lunchtime.
