  1. How big a part does psychology play in sport ?

but if skill is acquired by hardwork and I agree they must have worked even harder than everybody else. its a strange one because that skill becomes a thing to criticis them by as they do not work hard enough to use the things they work harder on than everybody else as we measure often players by how much they run around. Is something that seems to go round in circles. From Jacki to Jet to Tomlin to Trundle the theory is that they did not train hard enough maybe its part of their mindset that makes them different in the first place.
  2. How big a part does psychology play in sport ?

Agree with that. virtually all of us were not arsed enough to give it a real go at being the best we can be at our favourite sport. wrong attitude. I find it ironic that given that the bad lazy attitude card is used with Tomlin and JET who not only became pros but are more skilful than most of them. that skill is not an accident so they must have been more arsed than virtually all to work at it!! That one goes round and round in circles.
  3. LJ's style of play...

He was trying it last season but players didn't get it and sometimes were screening while other looked to press. The press follows the trigger which can be the ball it a zone or player moving into the zone to press ball and team then slides across over in unison.
  4. How is this 'Racism'? / Mark Sampson (Merged)

the player doesn't come across very well either. neither do a lot of people. if Mark Sampson was all its said some think he was. why was he employed by Bristol Academy? why did they give him a reference for the England job? Bristol Sport also made a statement yesterday which appeared to go against the FA.

  6. Cyclists

You asked for facts they are in the link. you asked for people to answer your questions and they are in the thread. you say you are not anti cycling but are not prepared to read others posts, wont answer questions angrily dismiss anything you do not like as irrelevant or ignore it, contradict your own posts, tell people they have no grasp on reality admit your ranting and are calling people in the thread idiots. Calm down give it up people will start to worry about you if you are like this away from a forum.
  7. Cyclists

Obviously not my research but you suggested I find some information on cycling law in Europe. There it is.
  8. Cyclists

https://www.slatergordon.co.uk/media-centre/blog/2015/08/cycling-accidents-and-presumed-liability-uk-vs-europe/ Have a read. Interesting. I was right about liability.
  9. Cyclists

I did not claim any of that and you are putting up links to entirely new points which are not in the post you insist people read. Lot of European nations have laws on liability in favour of cyclists so no insurance. Switzerland had insurance for cyclists and binned it. Guess you wont be answering the questions I posed .

Sorry reliving the wtf is he this doing this week trauma of last season blighted my post. never seen as much change and have never seen any team do anything but struggle with masses of change. It was the sign of panic. "The test for Lee this year, as ever, will be when a few results go against him, I hope he keeps going just as he is ... maybe others showing faith in him will give him the confidence to do just that". 100%

something from NSW in Australia which makes little sense about ID, a bit from New Zealand which is optional?? and you want to add that to all the rest and you still claim you are not anti cycling!! You have not found one Government in Europe and further that does what you want. Of course it will all lead to less cyclists. my insurance for my car is nothing like that for bikes. what insurance are you referring to? house insurance for bikes ? link? I can honestly say I have never felt targeted by any driver at any time. Youve been unusually lucky. Why is it people are turning this into "everybody hates us cyclists" You have.

Broadly no fella. Johnson was abandoning shape frequently last season not just changing it a little. it was we are not doing that this week or again next. City at Leeds was comedy oles report on it is classic people where fans who have gone all their lives had never seen such confusion. what Johnson attempted last season may work with super players with super coaches but not at this level it was strange in a bad way. What is going on now is entirely different. At the moment he is behaving like a changed organised man and the team is all the better for it.
  13. Cyclists

how will that work? how will it not lead to less cycling? why would people on bikes become more responsible cyclists when it clearly does not work for drivers? why do no government have this in place by law? what are they missing? people on bikes quite obviously can still be prosecuted without insurance. heres the thing when you cycle you learn responsibility because unlike drivers you cannot have accidents because you will get seriously injured or worse the same cant be said about many people driving. isn't that about scales where drivers regularly can cause massive damage easily and apart from the extreme of the extreme cases cyclists wont? ive never caused an accident on my bike however what the cyclists on here say about drivers targeting cyclists is real. but that's the world sadly. that is cycling. I don't want to see drivers having more laws because a tiny number target cyclists and are very dangerous. it does come across that it is cycling you do not like.

settled shape. City are not changing game to game half to half. that's the massive difference. the dna project talk is just look at me David Brent talk. of course players being bought should fit that settled shape. Joe Jordan didnt go this is the 4-4-2 project and I want players with 4-4-2 dna identity. its not complex. they are not reinventing the bloody wheel.

cant see how anybody would get up to full speed on the pavement as it would be difficult to get through the gears to get there let alone at you. full speed is about 40 - 45 mph with twenty one gears. never seen anyone do that on a pavement.
