  1. LJ shouting at Frankie

more difficult with less room for error. madness unless Flint is up in their half.
  2. LJ shouting at Frankie

Coopers City used to use Walsh from goal kicks outwide and also used to deliberately hit balls out of play to get the opposition pushed back in their half.
  3. I know a lot of people like Ryan Kent

Don't see posts expecting him to be Neymar or Messi. Just posts wanting the lad to be less selfish and fit in with the team style.
  4. Game Management

good point. City looked to be a quick slick passing team. Kent loses the ball and holds onto it like Tomlin and gives Bryan as much cover as well when he cuts inside and over then loses it!!! Diedhiou back. the passing team is going.
  5. I know a lot of people like Ryan Kent

Looks world class at losing the ball.
  6. Interesting talk at Senior Reds today

then they are better players!!! unless you think a player out of condition is a good one.
  7. Midfielders playing fullback.

In 2018 shouldn't City be looking towards players who can do both? Lee Johnson playing different options at full back might be because he is concerned about how City pass the ball instead of how they defend it. looking at Citys style whats more important?? keeping the ball and moving it forwards easily? keeping the ball less so giving it away more leading to more defending?
  8. Frank Fielding - Not Forgotten...

Button, Bentley German bloke at Leeds. I do not think Fieldings short game is all that because he rarely becomes an option or joins in outside the box. its a disadvantage when trying to play out. Fulham keeper is an extra outfield player.
  9. Frank Fielding - Not Forgotten...

The majority of a Keepers game is played with the feet now. If a Keeper is not good at the majority of his game???
  10. Casual, Toothless and Sloppy

He could have made a lot more effort to get back. But agreed others should have got across.
  11. Casual, Toothless and Sloppy

Think it was more seventy yards. Joes the scapegoat!! what should have happened?
  12. Casual, Toothless and Sloppy

It was seventy metres from goal.
  13. Brand Beckham

His control of the ball was outstanding. any angle height seemed to be able to go bang and kill it.
  14. Man City Style of Play vis-a-vis Bristol City

Being practical how realistic is all with the players here? does Lee Johnson have playmaking centre backs and full backs with a keeper who passes the ball with both feet rarely giving it away??? Starting in goal. can Citys keepers do this well enough?
  15. Singing section asked to sit in allocated seats for Man City game

So you would rather less fans watched the game? I see posts here saying fans will not help Bristol City who have lost 10% of capacity in that area of the ground for league game so you can have an unreserved area and stand. The thread is doing your lot no favours if you do not think your superfans better than the rest
