  1. Nah... we'd draw Forest away
  2. Agreed...in fact Taylor Moore would have been red carded on Saturday without doubt.....
  3. Yup.... isn't life wonderful at the moment....
  4. When I got mine back at the end of August, it was dealt with by Jerry Tocknell (Supporter Liaison Officer) he was very amenable. Suggest you call the club and ask for him.
  5. I've accepted that the home game against Fulham on March 7th was the start of a 12 month prison sentence and we're not getting released early for good behaviour....
  6. So sorry for your loss. I too lost my brother two years ago to a brain tumour. We also shared many east end memories from the 70's onwards and heart breaks like Wembley 2008. One doesn't "get over" losing a brother but over time it slowly gets easier....good luck mate, I understand what you're going through
  7. April 20th 1976. Clive Whitehead v Portsmouth. I was in the East End..... priceless goal that got us up to Div. 1
  8. Wonder what Josh Brownhill would make of such an appointment?
  9. Otherwise..... everything ok with you mate?
  10. Once again the Peaky Blinders have been working their voodoo and stayed up due to Wigan's point deduction. Even worse, there is now a fair chance that a sheep worshipping team will once again get to the Prem. Luton away at least....might get a ticket this time
  11. If he maintained that ratio of results then pro rata we'd end up with around 73-75 points and probably make the playoffs. However.....having seen Brisbane Roar on numerous occasions in a previous life, I reckon he'd be better off at the Gas
  12. So is Massengo's hair. That makes it two reasons
  13. I've finally got in after 45 minutes of trying....pain in the arse, hope they iron out the issues before Saturday....
  14. When I lived in Hamburg for a couple of years in the 90's St. Pauli were always my favourite. City centre location, underdogs to HSV, cracking atmosphere in a tightly packed traditional ground rather than HSV'S souless out of town ground and importantly, beers on the Reeperbahn next door before and after the game....good times
  15. I was at the 1979 cup final and still dine out on the story of the winning goal...Liam Brady, no shin pads, socks down, weaving through the manure defence like a ski slalom to deliver the cross to Alan Sunderland to poke it in. Just thought I'd chip in to your thread with that
  16. I liked that the article talking about a crowd reduction referred to "spectators" rather than customers. Shows that despite boardroom chaos and bizarre goings on, the club didn't treat us on the terraces purely as a component part of a business
  17. Are you religious or did you just lose your pull over?
  18. The Coopers for home games and the Miners Rest in Long Ashton after returning from away games!
  19. Got non-refundable rail tickets to Blackburn....unlikely to use them for the sake of it for a day out oop norf..
  20. Yup...three of us going by train. Looking forward to it, could be the last away day for a while although let's hope not. COYR
  21. I think this has been a balanced discussion. Yesterday's game was very physical with many crunching challenges, encouraged by a "free flowing" ref. COD has bulked out in the last two years and is more aggressive than Eliasson. LJ got it right yesterday having done his homework on Fulham. Horses for courses....I think we're lucky to have them both in the squad
