I agree he got lucky with the deflection but how he took it in the area and was decisive with where he was going. That’s massively improved from what we’ve seen before

His best game for a long time today, looked like he was going forward with intent today and looked dangerous every time he got the ball. Very different to the player who is normally indecisive when trying to beat his man

I don’t how you’re taking this on Manning but I agree around the “we gave it a go” crap, the players should’ve given it a go in the 3 games prior aswell. But they didn’t

As for TGH, think he’s still been good but been more effective in the advanced role which is a hard one because Knight accommodates that role normally.

Worth noting this from Conway, he’s been poor all season for me.

I wouldn’t single out any player, in terms of the performance it’s definitely better than the last two. But I think balancing everything I think this season we should be letting him go

I’m personally still behind Manning but even if it was a manager I wasn’t behind best believe I’d still renew. Going to football on the weekend has been part of my life every year and I wouldn’t change it. If the news around the TV deal means our games get moved then it may mean I miss a few games but I feel like I’m in a good position to justify it

I was against Pearson sacking at the time but realised that’s the industry we’re in. I was delighted with Manning and still am, criticising Manning for the results Pearson probably would’ve got in the last two. That’s fickle

First QPR game was first game so wouldn’t feel it’s fair to judge him on that, Birmingham game we weren’t great but still did enough to win. Rest I can’t disagree with though, think it’s only fair we give him a pre season unless things go really really wrong

Hard to say as we don’t know what Pearson would’ve done. I don’t think he beats most of the teams Manning has beaten but maybe he wins some of the games we’ve lost. Like Pearson though I think Manning has done enough to be backed and have a full pre season
