  1. Chill out guys, we're all friends. I was expecting to count the amount of people reacting on one hand, but I suppose you lot still can.
  2. As opposed to SAG - Gas backwards, being the height of cutting wit? ?
  3. This must be entertaining for you guys, we've been absolutely awful probably should be about 3-0. Losing first two centre halves is no excuse seeing as every player has decided to lay an egg.
  4. Hi mate As for travelling to Bradford, I'm away for the weekend, but don't think I'd have bothered to make the journey to Bradford for a 12.30 kick off to be fair, especially with the game on sky. it's been enough effort trying to convince the other half to find a pub in Polzeath that's got the game on and after seeing our defence for this game I'll probably regret it by 1.00.
  5. It potentially could. He is a more valuable player with a longer contract and clubs may be less inclined pay. If I were his agent I'd advise not signing a deal, as much as agents annoy us that's the case He stopped playing a while ago, finally left in the summer and is now contracted to Torquay
  6. That's exactly what I've just said. I'd imagine he didn't want to sign a contract in the summer because if he played well again this year he'd easily get a championship club.
  7. You're right on the stadium front. I disagree on the transfer thing though, if for example a deal for Bodin went through at 4/5 there's no guarantee that we would have pushed a deal through, there's an awful lot of stories from an awful lot of clubs less tinpot than us that didn't manage to secure targets by the deadline, even if a contingency was planned for.
  8. In the interest of fairness, a Daily Mail reporter (I know, hardly the gold standard of journalism) who was the first to break that clubs were interested in Bodin, reported that we turned down two offers of £500,000. We also had a bigger net spend than Arsenal, so obviously we're massive, Wael's a trillionaire now and we're coming for you. To be honest, I am over the moon he's staying. We'll lose him in January or in the summer for free, but even for £500,000 we won't get a good enough player to replace the value he brings to the side, particularly with just one day to get the replacement in.
  9. I'm definitely concentrated on Rovers, I enjoy a bit of banter, I can't imagine there being much I couldn't take. Besides, I wouldn't want you to think we all just ran away when the shit hit the fan.
  10. Actually, I came on yesterday for the first time in a while to reply to a comment and then this announcement came along and the replies kept rumbling. A matter of timing.
  11. Replied to this kind of post once already on the thread, believe me or not, I don't really care. As for the Hamer press conference, I'm a lot more interested to hear the Twentyman interview apparently happening later. I don't trust EP and Radio Bristol to ask the tough questions that would really bother Hamer (although that Wimbledon comment is an embarrassing own goal) whereas twentyman has shown he may be able to do so. Id imagine the process will be: Search of viable new sites for a few months No new sites viable. Plans drawn up for mem redevelopment Planning permission failed Planning permission granted on appeal Wait a few years Sorry guys it's not getting built. Im used to it.
  12. Your guess is genuinely as good as mine. We could be up a certain creek without a paddle, who knows? Again, something we were potentially up with Mr Higgs also.
  13. Again, it's something I've said numerous times. You can believe that or not but I've been pretty honest on here. There will be others who bullshit and others who are genuinely gutted, no doubt.
  14. Good god no. He just deletes what he gets wrong. Last season he mentioned that we were signing Tammy Abraham
