Crackin' good write up @Jerseybean
I'm not sure what to expect tomorrow. If Norwich start in a nervous way and City open the scoring early, I can see nerves well and truly jangling for the canaries. If Norwich start with a good mindset and no early errors.....best of luck to their Play Off ambitions
I see Norwich as the benchmark for BCFC, a decent ground, big catchment area and decent owners.

Shaun, at least you know you're 5hite. Those cretinous ******** actually believe they are something special.
Swede, we’re definitely shite but have the potential to get in league one if only we had a decent owner who wasn’t full of bullshit and surrounded by crooks

To be fair your attendances have held up well this season considering the dross you’ve had to put up with
It’s surprising how loyal the fans have been considering we’ve been shafted by another dodgy owner.

There's really no comparison {& I'm not blowing our trumpet]
Not even Swindle would be a comparison. They have a bigger stadium, have been in the Premier League & have won a major cup competition. Although they haven't won the Watney Cup.
A better comparison would be Forest Green or Cheltenham, much more their level.
Also we get bigger home crowds than them and we’re shite and there’s only a few teams in league 2 that bring 500 or more.

But she's never played men's professional football so she can't be any good at her job. It's impossible.
This is just the woke Marxist commie Trotsky Gary Lineker led anti-Brexit BBC infiltrating mid-table Championship football.
And I for one am FUMING.
Imagine how Barton is feeling

I saw both Leeds & Man Utd at Ashton Gate in the old first division in the late 70’s, love the montage and great memories.

Less than 9k for the Rent Boys today. Describing their support as “poor” is being very Charitable
You can’t even call them fair weather supporters as it was a glorious afternoon

Their home support is poor Swindon had just under 9500 with only 300 Tranmere today

Just listened to him on Points West and away from football banter it’s really sad to hear that three of his four children were born deaf which would be hard for any parent to deal with and puts life into perspective.

It seems the day did get worse for some Rovers fans when they bumped into Swindon

They just can't help themselves can they?
I had to laugh on the way home listening to Radio Bristol before the sags big day out, they interviewed a couple, one with blue hair (FFS) and when asked what in their opinion has lead to the upturn in form, blue hair replied blankly, I don't know. The other was asked a score prediction and he was easily expecting a win despite their being two leagues between the clubs last season or the fact that their opponents are one of the biggest clubs in that league. Hilarious. Especially when that fourth goal went in.
That was a blue rinse

They are rubbish this season. Miles off the standards previously set. It’s brilliant to see.
It was looking like the other plastic northern club would finish below Liverpool in the league but they seem to be getting their act together under the new manager.

The championship looks a really tough league this season where there are many teams are of a similar quality and so difficult to predict.

Losing to the bottom 2 in consecutive league games will make the natives restless!

Thanks for your kind words.
Sadly, the only 2 games I wanted you to win last season, won't be on your fixture list this season.
I share your hopes that City do well, but find myself unable to reciprocate those wishes towards Swindon - Soz & all..!
I understand

Cheers. I must admit I’m unsure of Swindon’s incomings and outgoings, what are the expectations for this season? Play offs or a real shot at automatics?
Cheers, in all honesty I don’t have a clue what to expect similar to last season.
we have Scott Lindsey as the new manager who was No2 to Garner so yet again unproven and as you guys know very rarely succeed. We lost 3 players to Charlton including Jojo & Jack Payne plus a few others who were out of contract.
Incomings to date are 11 players plus a couple of loans mainly all younger inexperienced players apart from defender Angus McDonald who they are looking to develop. The fanbase still seem interested selling out the 600 tickets for today’s game at Harrogate in under 24 hours to season ticket holders and wouldn’t give us anymore.

All the best for the coming season and let’s hope we both get promoted. It’s the hope that kills us!

We’ve known about it for over two weeks after it got leaked out before compensation was agreed. Rumours are that he met with Charlton between the two Port Vale games which hasn’t gone down well but he gave us a cracking season against all odds and can have no complaints that he’s off although I would have expected him to have stayed one more season before moving on.
we have a new director of football in place who done well at Wigan last season and expect a new manager announcement maybe Thursday with Mark Delaney favourite followed by Matt Taylor & Ryan Mason

It would but it could be about the money at Swindon now - not that Exeter are strapped given their shrewd transfer dealings in the last few years.
Apparently Garner was talking to Charlton between the play off matches with Port Vale and the deal was done over two weeks ago.

It would be a bit strange Matty Taylor dropping back down a division just after getting promotion
Yes it’s all a bit odd but the bookies have been taking money on both of them. Ryan Mason would be a good replacement alongside someone older but my gut feeling is Matt Taylor who played for us and managed Walsall. He also lives locally

Who’s next for Swindon?
I wasn’t sure if it had reached you guys yet!
should be announced this week and oddly Matt Taylor of Exeter and the other defender who played for us & Pompey equal favourites with Ryan Mason just behind.

There doesn’t appear to be much wrong with your football club other than a few quality addictions in the summer. The owner has delivered a first class stadium and training facilities and appointed a young manager who needs to be given time to develop the younger players and implement his style and looking at recent results he appears to be slowly changing things.
Football fans at all clubs are fickle and demand success instantly and as we all know it’s not that easy at any level.
