  1. Good point and yes you're right all clubs have goons including ours. They say the table never lies even though we beat yourselves and FGR in consecutive away games but they are there for a reason so what they have achieved needs to be applauded just like the run the Gas have been on to get you in the play offs and with an outside chance of the Autos. Have you peaked too early, can we win our next two home games to keep the 3500 Swindon fans interested for the last game of the season at Wallsall remains to be seen but now we have our top goalscorer back we have more than a good chance and like yourselves will need a little luck.
  2. What you see on the video is the FGR supporters just want to celebrate at their end with their players and no need for the goons st the other end to come onto the pitch
  3. When the pressure is on its a different ball game.
  4. I think we will get more than today's 9,600
  5. Our game in hand is home to FGR on Tuesday
  6. We're winning 3-0 away at Hartlepool and back in the mix?
  7. You should have had red & white scarves hanging out the windows and beeped your horn?
  8. lets not forget Cheltenham Town who constantly over achieve and barely get any credit.
  9. I was actually too young to drive myself but we had family in south west Bristol so was on the M32 a fair bit back in the day
  10. I used to enjoy driving past when the speedway was on as the crowds were much bigger!
  11. They will go back into hibernation if they mess it up over the next few games! I'm still riled that they only gave us 700 tickets at their place?
  12. Hate to say it but our season looks over unless we can win our last 4 games so the 3500 going to Wallsall on the last day of the season will be going for a celebration that we still have a club rather than in hope of making the play offs. Loan players being called back in January and losing our top goal scorer or several games has caught up with us but I'm sure we're be back stronger next season with more time to prepare a new squad. Even though the Gas have been on a great run and hats off to them they are still not guaranteed promotion and even if they achieve it I struggle to see how they can survive against the quality teams in league one. On the positive side our attenadces both home and away have been excellent and hopefully will continue next season
  13. Old fashioned centre forwards from the 70's & 80's era where the young need wingers to put crosses into the box.
  14. It's been boring up until now but a cracking goal which has woken up the Thames Valley Chelsea fans!
  15. Looking at those Newport fans you could tell it was half term?
  16. Not at all I've been on here for nearly six years and regulary posted last season when we were relegated and nearly folded.
  17. A few wins and they all come out of hibernation bellowing how big they are?
  18. Great post and having been around from the mid-late 70's I can relate to everything you have described. Sadly all clubs seem to have them and we're no different and they seem to make themselves known more on the away days.
  19. Amazing photos and love the way you've caputued the roof on the railway station, the BCFC die hards in the stadium whilst not forgetting the history of Stoke City from many years ago.
