It's his health issues that are the reason I opened the post, it would appear that there is no further news.

I really hope there is a solution for his back problems, will he take another job? only Nige knows that one, I think he'll be in demand

Hi All, does anyone have any news re Nige & his back issues. The last I heard he was in hospital for assessment, being a long-time back pain sufferer & having multiple surgeries I'm very interested to hear how he's going.

What a sad sad story & very painful to read, football rivalry means nothing when people are going through this sort of pain. Good luck to the guy, he deserves it .

It would appear from that news that SL has broken into his nest egg to pay off possibly the best manager & staff we've had at the club. Such a pity he couldn't have backed Nige with that money

So do I mate, so do I. What a total **** up by SL & JL, both are ****ing clueless & didn't like their deficiencies pointed out by someone who is well above what they will ever become

I meant to add that it will be interesting to see if "The Clueless" make finances available for the new man.

I understand the reasoning behind your post but I would prefer it to be about when SL leaves . My answer would then be - Anyone that loves the game/that knows the game & would employ NP & his team to finish the job they've started so well

I'm beginning to wonder if it's possible that Nige has now had enough of the situation with SL & has now come out with his views on the situation to say "I'm available" to clubs that are in need of new management. I really do hope that isn't the case but there will be many clubs that will be watching this outcome.

It would appear to me that the majority can see what a top job NP & his staff have done under very difficult conditions. In my 65+ yrs as a supporter I don't think I've seen us in better hands & it appears that SL has turned his back on such an obvious opportunity to achieve. I know you have to be careful what you wish for but I'm now hoping SL gets out of this club, I appreciate what stability his finances have given us but his priorities are now totally out of whack imo
