  1. The game is set up for the ref to cheat in favour of Vardy and Leicester with a pen. You can see it coming
  2. We will probably play well today, our players wanting to be in the shop window. As said previously BT is the problem not even JL really as he is not a football man more of a supporter like the rest of us. His knowledge is probably not much different than most supporters. BT is pulling all the strings and until he has gone we are a sinking ship.

Watching tonight, maybe I am not wrong. Great effort from the players in a showcase match. Strangely though the last 10-15mins we weren't pressing so much. A reaction as promised but can't hold a lead, yes Ipswich were good but we're they better than us for the first 75 mins, I think not. This was Mannings football I think, not BT but let's see what's served up against Swansea, must win game I would argue but not on Sky and not a team most of our players would be keen on joining. If I was a betting man I would say another loss on the cards.

Sense of honesty. As people have rightfully said, LM saw this job as a bigger and better step for his career. I am sure he came to us with every good intention. What I think he didn't factor in at any stage was BT involvement. I think he is pulling all the strings at the moment, he can baffle JL with his football knowledge, he can hoodwink academy players with his involvement generally and he can dictate to LM on a daily basis as he can probably opt when to pull the plug. I don't think it's rocket science either that certain players have had enough, they perform in the big games in the hope of a move and could really care about the lower matches as they don't see their futures at lower clubs. Tonight will be a good example I feel. I was of the opinion that NP time was probably up and I felt a young manager with good coaches supporting him might be the answer, what i didn't expect was BT becoming the background manager in what really now is his 2nd spell in charge. answer. Get rid of BT now, give LM the chance to show us if he is capable without others interference. See if he can manage and coach the players in a way that they support him , their team mates and the fans.

I was one of those that didn't want NP gone. Unfortunately thought that is now history and whether we like it or not we have to move on. In comes LM with his new style of coaching (on the grass) and a different way of playing.is that wrong? I don't think so. We were hardly hitting dizzy heights before. Always seems one step forward and two steps back. Now we have to have some faith in LM to improve what was already a dull season. Let's at least give him the support and time he needs to make a difference,. 10 games is usually a fairly good indicator of how he might fair. As for BT , I think he is the reason the change has happened, I think he couldn't control NP like he will try LM, it is that relationship that Will ultimately determine LM success or failure I feel.
  6. In the 70s in the East end we used to sing you'll never walk alone and that got everyone going. It is not Liverpool's to own. Of course we were standing then which also helped.I But for me a good old fashioned one to the tune of tiperarry . It's a long way to Bristol city, it's a long way to go, it's a long way to Bristol City to the greatest team I know. Goodbye Bristol rovers, farewell Cardiff too, it's a long long way to Bristol City but out hearts with you.
  7. I was at that game as a 13 yr old, travelled up from Taunton, fantastic atmosphere, loved it. John Galley was class.
  8. What about. It's a long way to Bristol City, it's a long way to go. It's a long way to Bristol City to the greatest team I know. Goodbye Bristol rovers, farewell Cardiff too. It's a long long way to Bristol City but we are here with you. Sing to the tube if it's a long way to tipperary, would probably get the older fans joining in aswell.
  9. How many time this season have we been 1-0, 2-0 or 3-0 down at half time and come back to either draw or win? That fact alone will demonstrate how much fight we have () in this team. Yes it wa an excellent point for Derby, I am sure most people are right, we would have taken a point before the match but it does not excuse throwing in the towel when we are comfortably 3-0 up at half time. I defy anyone to look at the half time stats and tell me that LJ did not change the tactics in the 2nd half. For the record the person who stated that Tammy and Taylor should have stayed on was100% right. Maclaren must have been laughing his socks off when he saw the changes.
  10. It does not matter who you play. To go from 3-0 up to 3-3 is not a good point for ANY team.
  11. I didn't give him credit for the 3-0 lead. But I do give him gref for the draw. How can the same group of players play so badly in the second half. Maybe the game plan was changed for them.
  12. Its not the draw that is depressing. You are right. It is a good point against an in form team but if you throw away a 3-0 lead when you are running them ragged and they have already made 2 substitutions in the first half, that would suggest something is very wrong. It was quoted on here that Derby looked tired following their cup match, then it was quoted that the manager had made to many changes, but I have to say that the wally with the brolly has got a better idea than the wally leading this team.
  13. I have supported Bristol City for 50 years and I think this is just about the lowest point I have known. Even the youngsters that saved the club many years ago had more fight, drive & determination than this overpaid bunch.Sadly I was also one of the LJ ' in' brigade up till today.
  14. If we dont win this one from 3-0 up then we dont deserve to stay up.
