  1. Really!? Agaist Salford City, that’s even less classy than Sane agaist us
  2. I always felt we’d be pulled apart once we got promoted and we were. I think you need the best players in the league to be able to pull a 3-5-2 off which we didn’t have in the champ.
  3. If only we had one of the best crossers in the league...
  4. That could be quite solid if Rowe and Perreira are disciplined, with Nagy it’s almost a screen of 6. Maybe Eliasson in for Palmer at some point. I wonder if LJ has lost patience with Cod
  5. And if he turns out to be rubbish.... When the ball hits your head and your sat in row Zed......that’s messengo
  6. Mcgregor face said he won’t have time to press on this too hard post match tomorrow but will request an interview in the week to go over everything in detail
  7. Yeah but he doesn’t add width, he’s a no.10 and one that I never felt had the ability to change a game, I liked Pato but I don’t think he’s good enough if we want to move upwards.
  8. Good read. My hopes for the season would be that we find we have a squad of 16 or so that play the fast moving forward flowing football we are looking for (Brentford circa 2016).@RedDave has it spot on in that we need a summer of stability, that way we can add one or two players of real, and I mean real, quality and hopefully have a proper crack at promotion.
  9. What do we do with him then? Let us go over the facts: COD Refuses initial contract and makes a counter offer BCFC agree to counter offer COD Refuses contract offer because he believed he was going to get a big move (to Leeds, Fulham or Forest) the latter of which is almost laughable. No move materialises. LJ states that he still wants COD but wants him to sign the contract before the 8th so it shows that he wants to be here. COD still not signed contract as of 8th Aug. Even if he signs his contact He’s made it obvious he doesn’t really see his future here. I’m tempted to say we should withdraw our offer and let him train with the reserves until next summer but our only real width comes from him and Eliasson. We could include Weimann and Semenyo in that last statement aswell depending on the system we play (Adelukan does not count because he’s done nothing to convince me he’s good enough and There are no other ‘proper’ wingers at the club). The head says keep him integrated in the squad for reasons already outlined as COD playing in a system which reduces the importance of his defensive responsibility could give us a fantastic player. I’ll be interested to see what LJ actually does and what everyone’s opinion is.
  10. It’s nice to see that he obviously loved it here and as others have said it was a delight when both pato and bobby were up top together but, over the course of last season never once have I thought he could be our match winner. I Wish him well though
  11. What’s that coming over the hill? Benik Afobe, Benik Afobe! Bring it back @Section82 ultra
  12. If he’s match fit then this could work out well, loan so low risk.
