  1. Could argue so can Walsh after he was one of Covs best players last season. Personally I think we are too lightweight in midfield in the sense that there is no real presence to win headers or second balls etc. Pack was pretty good at.
  2. I think this just highlights everyone has different things they enjoy watching or appreciate. Your point about ultimate team my favourite player currently is Allan a CDM and when I was a teenager I used to think players like Cisse Or Hartley were great to watch.
  3. 1. I personally would be looking Chris Hughton as we know he’s had success at this level. 2. Happy with play offs but I would be accepting of a top half finish. (Not happy and also not bitter) 3. I get frustrated with LJ because he bangs on about identity and it’s noticeable that this identity has shifted time and time again. Where’s that pressing and intensity from a couple of seasons or so gone. If you can tell me what our identity is then fair play! 4. No I wouldn’t want him gone because then we are achieving success and in a great position to go up. Don’t think anyone want
  4. Think I was saying just this to a bunch of mates earlier as well, how many transfer windows has he had to get this squad right etc. So yeh completely agree!
  5. Issue I have with everyone saying 1 point off play offs is that no ones thinking about our track record. Last few years we’ve been 2nd and then 5/6th and still managed to not make the play offs False position yeh maybe, I just think we always fall off the pace and never recruit strongly whilst all the other sides make a push for it.
  6. I could see 4-3-3 working as it could help Eliasson get more game time. Personally depends what you want from the CM. Ask one to anchor and two box/box or do you ask two to sit and one gets a free role? Could you ask Nagy and Smith to sit and ask Palmer to do the free role? Gets the two creative players people want into the side. With regards to systems and changes I did see someone mentioned 4-1-4-1 and 4-4-1-1 etc. This was the formation we used when we had an “identity” where we pressed and moved the ball... a couple of seasons back mind. Can anyway work out why we sto
  7. I did exactly the same and it’s usually because it’s sound bites and new thought up buzzwords. Box entries sums it up for me! We all seem them plastered on here and in fairness I think loads of managers do it (not just LJ).
  8. Not sure if this was posted but a 9 minute press conference now up on twitter
  9. This is true and the other side of it as well. Time gets added like I mentioned but you have broken the game up so many times it’s hard to sustain pressure. Agreed we have never been very good at it and the amount of times I’ve seen do it to us is countless!
  10. Just a thought but the Ref added on nearly another 3 or 4 minutes on top of the added time, so does it make that much of a difference?
  11. At the current rate of our set ups and performances I think Weimann might be one who drops dead, especially with the congested Christmas period. Using him as an impact sub where he can come on for 30/20 minutes and stretch the game and run at tired defenders would be perfect for him. Overall I wouldn’t drop him as he is a threat for us and one of the more intelligent forwards we have for his runs creating space.
  12. He had hit a good vein of form before that as well which is really irritating.
  13. Yes he got injured Away at Luton apparently
  14. Baker can’t pass not mobile enough Willians can only play as the middle CB Wright can’t pass and is prone to making mistakes Don’t have a ball playing CB like Ayling, or Webster Formation might help Dasilva and Hunt though
  15. I think it is only for the mid week games which is what a google search confirmed to me as well.
