  1. Nonsense............we've drawn two and lost two in the last four games against Millwall
  2. The Bob Welch era was second incarnation of Fleetwood Mac. Buckingham & Nicks came after that. Pete Green was an LSD victim pure and simple........same as Syd Barrett and Brian Wilson.
  3. Very sorry to hear about this. He was indeed a top player in his day..........RIP
  4. Yep, Merrington was crocked in a pre-season game and never played again for the club. Different era back then...........testimonial match would never be granted these days.
  5. Ian Storey-Moore is correct. He did get a cap for England but wasn't in the 1970 World Cup squad. His career ended prematurely due to a bad knee injury.
  6. Hegeler has a knee injury as confirmed by Mr Gregor in his post Shrewsbury comments.
  7. Nope........Skirton cut in from the wing and hit a diagonal shot into the far corner at the open end.
  8. Yep........Alan Skirton is correct.
  9. Top player in his day. RIP Ernie
  10. Why not ? veganism is an expanding sector of the population.
  11. No he's still doing very well, but like most people he's not averse to topping-up the old bank account.
  12. Yep, and despite what some of the haters on here might think, he won't be short of job offers.
  13. Certainly not this year, Rooney has zero goals and zero assists in 2018
  14. Tomlin wasn't offloaded for £2.8 million. City only received £1.5 million which represents a significant loss. http://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/moment-neil-warnock-asks-fee-389652 Also, the loan signings aren't "free". When the loan fees and associated expenses are accumulated, most people would be shocked at the true overall cost of a loan signing - particularly a failed one like Diony. The club needs to reduce the size of the squad and focus more on quality instead of quantity.
