  1. Wow, that’s impressive 👏

The club can’t say they haven’t been backed by us supporters - let’s hope the club back the HC now so that we have a team ready to push-on next season……Manning’s comments re the club needing to show ambition in the summer was interesting today too.

He sounded quite confident and so makes me wonder if we already have the signings we want, all lined up?

When you look at the table in October, it's amazing we've actually got a chance really. That win today has dragged Plymouth and Blackburn right back into it. Tricky last couple of games, impossible to predict what is going to happen.

Good luck @Owl Visiting - I for one, am hoping that you stay up…..really want Brum to go and suspect that Huddersfield will go too

My father wanted a physical card as he is finding it increasingly challenging using his phone, but was told he wasn't allowed to have one and they were only available for people who had previously been issued with them.

City won’t turn down another ST renewal.

I’d suggest calling, explaining by the situation and I’m sure they will sort it for your dad.

  4. I think it’s important he stays - how much would it cost to replace the Joe Williams we’ve seen this year? A good chunk of whatever budget LM has this summer.

As @Davefevs says - gotta treat him as a “Free” signing. I think that he will want to stay too……

Get the No 10 and 9 we need & the club have committed too (likely to be a pretty significant outlay), coupled with the likes of Bird coming in and Big Rob back and we’ve got a much stronger squad.

Not accepting card payments online. Usual farce with Word Pay / Bristol Sport. If you are leaving to the last minute to renew, think again. You might have to use the phone, which is not quick.

When you spoke to the club to renew, did you ask them how many STs had been sold so far??

Lots of supporters are keen to know….. 😆

  6. Was saying to @Davefevs earlier that I’d sign him if the money was right (£2.5m)

I think that it’s fair to say that we are yet to see the best of him but he’s shown for us (& more so at Hull) that he’s more than capable at this level

I don’t think we’d get much better for the money, unless we take a risk with someone from abroad.

If Stoke don’t beat Plymouth next Saturday they then have Southampton at the Dell ( old school ) then us at home that would be an interesting last game of the season , pay back for Wembley and put them down

Big game for both clubs as given games affecting those beneath them (Huddersfield at home to Swansea and Brum at Rotherham), can see Stoke and/or Plymouth being dragged back into trouble.

I am certainly hoping that Argyle get a positive result

As you say, our way game of the season could still have a lot riding on it for Stoke!

I think Blackburn are in massive trouble with the games they have left, Leeds, Leicester & Coventry, their home game with Sheff' Weds' will be make or break

Wednesday already sold 7,000 tickets - have asked for more!

Will be like a home game for them - as you say, think Blackburn are in big trouble - they certainly didn’t look up for the fight on Wednesday night either

  9. Would certainly make our last day much more interesting, if Stoke were still in danger of going down 😂

If they lose tomorrow, the pressure will be really on them as Wednesday would go level of points with them.

Still likely to be a lot of twist and turns before then…..based on what I saw on Wednesday, with their run-in, Blackburn are potentially in trouble too.

If we were to send them down, not sure the trip back to the train station after would be very pleasant though!!!

  10. @Harry - do you think that this is purely linked to MJ being a “Pearson Player” - didn’t want to extend, knowing that NP wouldn’t be here beyond this season?

Now NP has gone - JL and BT want rid of any NP “people”?

Like many others have said, subject to terms, I’d like us to keep MJ as we are currently, a better team with him in the side…..will also allow Bird to settle in, if he is seen as MJ replacement long-term.

Plymouth started the season well and were playing some good football scoring loads of goals till the change of management.

Think the trouble was their new ex manager tried to get the team to play nice fancy football (don’t they all!) which didn't suit them and dropped some popular players.

With the Plymouth fixtures to come bar Leicester they ought to do enough to stay up really.

    QPR
    Stoke
    Millwall
    Hull on the final day.

I hope they stay up - was a brilliant away day on Monday 👍
