  1. With you @Harry - I just don’t see JL and BT wanting to admit they were wrong! This may need intervention from SL but again, don’t see that happening either. What a mess…..lose the next two and surely, they will have to act then.
  2. How are Watford 33’s and we are 150-1 when they are above us in the league?
  3. The decision to have him playing on the left became even more bizarre when Mehmeti was brought on…… Talk about playing people in their best positions!
  4. Interesting to see him after the game - came on the pitch, hands in pockets, didn’t join in with the other players “tapping their heads” and celebrating with their supporters….trudged off, looking really disinterested….
  5. There’s absolutely no chance that the Board will take such a decision. That will be them admitting that they were wrong to make the change they did!
  6. Will he though? Have the Board got the balls to admit they were wrong and make such a decision - I for one, don’t think they will. Not felt so disconnected with the club in a long time.
  7. We are in trouble this season with Manning in charge, let alone the concerns people have next season.
  8. This is how I see it @Mr Popodopolous - 53 to 55 points for me…..should be enough but will be regression, compared to last season. Wonder how BT and JL will see that?!
  9. I think that would depend on how close we were to the bottom three…..
  10. Or to take the Head Coach job!
  11. I’m not convinced we even gonna get to 59 points as things stand. Expecting/hoping to get to 54-56 points. What will JL and BT think of that, bearing in mind what they were “expecting” from this squad when LM was appointed?
  12. Especially Pring yesterday - he looked so off the pace, especially for someone that had only missed a couple of games
  13. Thank god we won at Boro and beat Southampton as otherwise, it really would be squeaky bum time after the last two results! I would have hoped to have got 4 points across the QPR/Wednesday games…..how wrong was I ! Its worrying that we are still worried about relegation with a 9 point buffer and only 12 games to go - hopefully, we can get the couple of wins we need quickly but I guess, it’s a sign of the times, based on the last two games. Confidence completely evaporated, not only from some supporters but based on what I witnessed in Sheffield yesterday, a number of our players too.
  14. Only when we are chasing a result it seems, though @Davefevs? I think Manning needs to decide on his “main one” now; it’s either TC or NW and then give them a run of games, rather than chopping and changing every week. If I’m a betting person, neither with be our main striker next season as can see TC being sold in the summer (due to contract situation) and NW being even more of a bit-part squad player in his final season with us….
  15. Think it will be the same this Saturday. Sold out away end (2,500 or 3,400?) …… after that debacle yesterday, Manning and the players simply need to put on a Southampton-standard performance
  16. Would I back him or sack him now? Probably have to say “back” for now, only because he’s had less than half-a-season with us but…..if this form continues, seriously think we would need to re-assess at the end of the season. Having been at the game yesterday, I think it’s fair to say that many City fans I spoke to on the way home are of the opinion that he should go. Clearly though, those in charge won’t want to lose face and so even if we finish in the bottom 6 (could easily happen), they will back Liam in the summer with money to spend as they won’t want to be seen to have made the wrong decision. Hugely disappointing and frustrating times. Not sure where it will all end, either! Think the next two home games are massive for Manning now.
  17. Clearly, a nasty piece of work - get him banged up.
  18. They’ve got some interesting games to come, nothing more so than Swansea away on the last day of the season!
  19. Still not sure what the point of this post is?
  20. Yep. Now totally and utterly marooned in mid-table - where the vast majority of us expected City to be this season.

    Twine

Reading LM post-match comments, think we will see Sykes and Twine from the start next Saturday.
