  1. England always look like a work in progress. Never the finished article. It's a case of experimentation cause I can.
  2. miser

    Nine goals

At Tottenham - has that ever happened?
  3. Terry Cooper as a 40 year old sub. Only came on to run down the clock and could be relied on to be fouled and on his arse within 20 seconds. The all time master.
  4. I drink, but I never get to Tommyland. Gotta try something stronger.
  5. Liberated his people (mainly from their money)
  6. We also need to factor in the fact that flying at 6 miles up increases the flight length as the circumference is greater up there. Also Quito to Singapore got to be downhill. Time to get out my old maths textbooks. Might be over thinking it though.
  7. Still got my "I'm a little Robin" babies bib. Fastest selling range ever - sold out before kick-off.
  8. miser

    Take 6th?

Sure the OP has a career ahead as a motivational speaker - "Let's give up before we started"
  9. Having lived the nightmare in 82, I'd still be in my period of mourning now.
  10. Played a handful of games in 1970. Never an established player.
  11. Circumference of the earth is 24900, so anything around 12450 is the winner. Hopefully Ryanair will add it to their schedule, so we can give it a try.
  12. It's a mystery for Bolton. In theory the debt was written off, but there are still reports of old debts owed. For Bury, there are reports of Gigg Lane being mortgaged to finance the owners property empire (or not empire). Not sure that all the problems are down to actual running costs.
  13. And the debt relates to a few crooks being involved. The fit and proper test of the EFL is a bit lacking.
  14. It seems the problems at Bolton and Bury relate to debt and not to the day to day running costs. Merger doesn't solve the debt problem.
