You miss my point DS. I meant that we wouldn't be the only club interested come the summer and, while he's happy to sign for us now (good on him), I'm sure there would be more money available to him wages wise, in the summer, if he had waited. I take it as a positive that he's signed now rather than wait until the summer tbh.

Who on earth is Smith? I read this as Bird was a player we wanted in the summer but would probably be outbid once he'sOOC, so we took a chance and went for it now. If that's the case, we'll done City for taking an opportunity.

Just had a quick read of the Forest forum and I don't think they're too impressed with our camera position..... 'There's people in Swindon closer to the pitch than the camera'! Made me chuckle that. They like our kit too btw.
