  1. They are so obsessed with us and overtaking us that they can't see a long term vision. Their long term vision is "be ahead of city in the table".

Taylor is probably one of the better choices for a rebuild and they want him gone because there's no style and results haven't been great. They seem to be ignoring that they'll have no squad in summer and no academy and no idea of how to be sustainable.

They are in the same position we were when Nige came in they need to acknowledge there's going to be a couple of years of hurt for the rebuild to happen but they won't because they want their new 20,000 seater stadium, they want to be promoted at any cost so they can try and be ahead of us even for a day in the league table.

  2. Manning, Jon and Tinnion all need to go.

If we want a Technical Director/Director of Football we need experience not someone whose only experience is Academy Director or Pathway manager or whatever his title was.

Richard Gould showed what a competent CEO can do.

Manning could be good in the future but for the here and now he isn't good enough and I don't want to wait for the future. Here and now we need to get rid of him and bring in a name not a project manager I mean our record on project managers isn't great (LJ, Holden and Manning)

  3. The players seem confused under Manning. Under Nige everyone knew their role.

We look best when the players go back to how they were under Nige, sit back and hit them on the counter.

To bring in "his" players to suit his style will cost a lot of money. I would rather use that money to get rid of him and bring someone in who can use the system we have, won't need to change much and can coach the players to be better.

  4. Nige had everyone pulling the same way. He was developing a culture and identity for the club.

I'm not going to blame Manning too much but Boy Wonder, Tinnion and Manning have all undone the good work that was done under Nige and are taking us one way... to League One.

The bestest fans in the world are all away, boosting away attendances. They’re obsessed with away attendances. It’s what they do. Hahahahaaaaaaaa 🤣🎁

Because when you go to fantastic stadiums like they have at Burton Albion and Cheltenham why would you go to a stadium where nothing matches.

    I see that the Gas reporter has grown some balls and called out their owners in a damning piece in the Post. Fair enough, but what a hypocrite, after being up Bartons arse for all of his time at the club, he had this to say about the manager who replaced Barton;

"Furthermore, he's just a breath of fresh air which has been incredibly welcome. With the 41-year-old you get straight, honest responses in press conferences where excuses are very rarely if ever made while he protects his own players when necessary. A welcome change."

Which makes it all the more funnier that Joey banned the Post from attending pre and post match conferences.

  7. Steve has all my respect for supporting us financially every year and redeveloping Ashton Gate.

But it's the constant mixed messages, the not straight forward answers, the bizarre decisions with no answer they just know "its the best step" that need to be sorted.

Things were running smoothly when Richard was Chief Executive because everything was explained why things were happening "we need to cut down on x so there won't be much spend in the market" and then he moves they hire someone who has a fantastic track record and then let him go without saying anything until it was spoken about on here.

I think he also needs to stop Bristol Sport it was a good idea but we aren't a big enough name for it to work.

  8. A draw would be a good result but I just can't see it. Boro have really started to kick into gear and Carrick is a good manager.

I'll back LM and the team but I can't support those higher up and with Boy Wonder saying this is a top 6 team that's probably what LM will be judged on.

Replacing a popular manager is never an easy job and I do wish him well but I'm just so deflated after the sacking of NP and the unprofessionalism around it.

  9. I hope he does well for us I really do.

My biggest concern is the players we have were brought in by Pearson to play his style of football and from the looks of it Manning plays a different style so we may have to spend money to get the style he wants which would probably annoying fans because Pearson wasn't backed...

  10. I miss Twentyman because you know he would've followed up on some of those questions to push for more.

The comment about CEO baffled me because Gavin is CEO of Bristol Sport and Bristol Bears and they want him to be the defacto leader of Bristol City as well. That's stretching him a bit thin to oversee multiple entities.

Gould was one of the best because the communication was there with the fans. I don't know why it changed with Alexander and don't know why it didn't work put but it just didn't.

I just want the Lansdowns out now because it's just been poor decision after poor decision.

Top 10 budget, no chance. Otherwise we are massively over paying Weimann, Wells, James, Dickie and Cornick (can’t see anyone else on big wages?).

Also the week before Nigel was sacked we were 8th, so surely that’s where we should be IF true.

He failed to mention its a top 10 budget for league one.

In the short term, as the other thread suggests, how the players react will be so important. Whoever is in charge of training would be well advised to keep them distant from the board and make sure they just focus on football.

None of us or the players are in control of this so keep the team in isolation from all the corporate stuff even if it means being 'unavailable' for meetings and PR.

I fully back Curtis to keep their heads on right. He won't hang them out to dry and he'll make sure they are in as right of a mind frame they can be in.
