  1. They do have an academy and if I remember their home game raffles helps fund the academy.
  2. I don't think he would. We obviously have the banter with each other (the minutes booing when he passes away) but I feel that he has a weird respect for us and our fans.
  3. If I was a betting man I think I'd put a cheeky bet on Paul Cook or Lule Garrard. But how are Sam Allardyce, Chris Hughton and Neil Lennon on that list.
  4. In the first post he talks about a new manager coming in and changing all the players... you mean like Barton does every season.
  5. Seem like a bit of a basket case of a club. You knew something was off when they sacked Moore after the play off win. But the chairman has pulled funding I don't even think Warnock could turn it around.
  6. The city pattern all over it makes it a no from me. Our kits have been bad since we've moved to O’neills.
  7. So we're not having an away kit this season then ?
  8. And would probably get paid a lot to be binned. But why would we want him to go? Not developing any of their own youngsters to sell on, signing older players on what I would assume big contracts but the club let him get away with so much I doubt they'll let him go even if he loses 20 games in a row.
  9. I'm guessing the new guy didn't toe the Party line so "Saint" Joey didn't like it but can't have him jailed for treason.
  10. Steve McClaren would be the manager. Trying to think about who the assistant is.
  11. Sheffield United are now a yo yo club who have financial means well above most championship teams. As for Luton they are there on merit whilst at the same time there's always an anomaly in a season. Luton /Coventry last season, Huddersfield in 21/22. Barnsley in 20/21 etc
  12. Brentford's 17k seater cost £71m. Plough Lane which is 9k cost £34m. I'd say you'd be looking at £65-80m for the stadium as costs will have gone up since Brentford built their stadium.
  13. He's been a fantastic chairman for them been with them since 2006. It's only right we pay respect to him.
  14. I mean any manager would be upset that their best player is being sold. I think he's just using the media to say "look I'm not going to have much money so you can't add an extra 1-2m on this player I want to buy"
  15. I think as stated above GK, CB, CM and Forward is what we need. For keeper I'd potentially put in a cheeky offer for Marcus Bettinelli 3rd choice keeper there, 31 has plenty of experience he shouldn't upset the balance. CB if not Kalas then Tom Holmes or Eiran Cashin would be the 2 I'd prefer. You can't really blame Holmes for the mess Readong are in and Cashin seems to be one of the next big things at Derby. CM it has to be Callum Styles or Tim Iroegbunam both jave championship experience, both good ages in terms of potential sell on. I do have a choice from completely left field who is Marěj Jurásek from Slavia Prague I've been impressed whenever I've seen him. For CF it's difficult because you want someone who would bring something different but also fit in... personally I'd go for someone like Sydney Van Hooijdonk (son of Pierre) if we can get him on the cheap from Bologna. Kasper Junker has had a decent season out in Japan and is out of contract at the end of the year so should be cheap.
  16. Direct contact to the Head with his boot straight red for me.
  17. 123 supporters... best support in the entire universe. What is the excuse going to be this time? The balloon fiesta got in the way? We had 400,000,000 locked out? I went there last season so didn't want to go again?
  18. Christ that kit for the bears is not filling me with much hope for the away shirt.
  19. You would presume at the start they would come to us and say "We want to sign Alex Scott can we have permission to talk to him" and then after they've got interest from scott they come back and then negotiations over price happen.
  20. At the end of the day football is a business. Clubs sell players all the time and if the same club look at us and say "yeah we'll pay you what you want" we aren't going to be stupid and say "Nah we sold you X so why would we sell you Y?" Could Alex go to a bigger club? Yes he could. But the fact is Bournemouth are a premier league team and he is unproven at that level so there's an element of risk. If Alex performs like we all know he can I wouldn't be surprised if he moved on next summer to a bigger club.
  21. So according to the super computer we never go below the playoffs
  22. Play in a rugby ground... remind me again the memorial stadium was built for which club?
  23. Talking of West Ham they bad a bid of £25m rejected for James Ward-Prowse and apparently won't go higher, maybe they'll glance our way with that money.
